New England paid for Revis, Seattle is rumored to be paying for Lynch. Can we stop always trying to compare ourselves to the flavor of the month? Any team can win with any style, and Dez has actually proven to anyone watching that he can and sometimes has carried his team to a win.

Also, the main point I'm trying to make is who do you bring in with Dez's money, and how confident are you that the team would be better served evaluating and signing free agents then they would be just resigning a known commodity?

Superbowls have been won with every sort of team you can imagine, and no one really has presented a good argument in this thread or this forum that paying Dez a lot of money is a worse idea than letting him walk. All I read about are cliches and these imaginary lines in the sand, and no real alternatives.

So far as I can tell, we could resign Dez and D-line help, which would be gravy.

It always too small of a sample size to draw any solid conclusions. It's the 3-4, then it's the pistol, then it's big DBs, then it's a monster TE and the 12 personnel.

They have the money to pay Dez, Murray and a DE. Use the Draft to keep getting BPA.

You kind of proved his point. The Broncos became a running team the second half of the season. The Pats run game was very good towards the end of the season and into the playoffs. And the Steelers had one of the best rushing games in the league...As for the Colts, they're an example of what you get with no run game. A very good QB who throws a lotof INT's because everything is put on him.

How did I prove his point? Every team I listed got where they did passing and built their identity as a passing team. Are you trying to say that the Patriots, Broncos, and Steelers were running teams? If so, I would invite you to double check the stats from the last year and their rankings in offense.

No, the NFL is not "transitioning back to a running league". Or is it really necessary to whip out the fact that only TWO teams ran more than passed in 2014?

As long as this team can run the ball the way they do this team is going to win alot of games.

Dez drawing double and triple coverage opens up running lanes for Murray and then when they stack the box Dez is pretty much Wide Open in Single Coverage, all Romo has to do is put it up in the same zip code and Dez does the rest.

The passing game and the running game in that scenario feeds off each other, it's our 1-2 Punch Combo that nobody can defend.. We lose that and we're back to 8 or 9 wins per year...

Keep in mind that Odell Beckham had the catch of the year ..... and he watched the playoffs from HOME. Why? His team sucks. It doesn't matter if you can't draft or you can't keep players because of the cap.. The result is the same.
