Denver to release Dumervil

The past 3 seasons that he played.

He didn't play in 2010 due to injury. Including that year in the average is misleading. He averaged 12.5 when considering 2009, 2011, and 2012.

I was only joking around a little by being literal because the post said years, not seasons. And it isn't too misleading. If a guy misses an entire season, he isn't accumulating sacks, nor is he helping his team. People on this forum complain about Ware having a hurt shoulder. I can't imagine the bashing Ware would take if he was injured to the point of missing an entire season. Heck, with the luck the Cowboys have had in recent years, if they signed Dumervil(not that many are asking for that) he would get hurt and miss most of the year.
