We talk often how RBs, OL, QB are being exposed but nobody has been more exposed that Dooley (WR coach). There has been zero development across the board from WRs. Most teams do not have a Dez Bryant yet their WR seem to get open. Maybe some of this is on the QB and we will find out soon enough with Cassel starting now. RB and WR should figure high in next draft.

It feels like there is a fan rolodex of people to blame. Once all of the obvious choices are taken then we start getting way down the list to the WR coach.

Maybe they should "Cut 'em", whoops that's only for players. I guess "can him" would be the fan cry on this one.

QB should be top priority in the draft.

Right now he has no RAC Witten, a number 2 1/2 Williams, and a tiny chain mover Beasley to work with. Two of these guys create no space in an already crowded box. You cant always make lemonaide out of lemons.

I feel we are not drafting talented WRs,we had so many chances to draft good WRs for the past 2 years but failed to draft one as a insurance for Dez going down.

So you think he's doing a good job then?

Here is the reality.... They drafted Dez 6 years ago in the 2010 draft.

Since then they drafted exactly one guy in round 3 or higher at the WR position -- Williams in 2013. That's it.

It's today's pass happy NFL, I lay fault on the doorstep of the front-office for not doing a better job stocking the WR cupboard.

Elite QBs need WR targets. The Cowboys have loaded up on role/specialist WRs and to a certain extent it has come back to bite them this season.

With absolutely zero knowledge of what spot the Cowboys will draft at or who is available my top of the draft order looks like:

1st Round: QB
2nd Round: WR
3rd Round: FS

I'm sorry, but this would improve absolutely nothing.

We don't touch a QB in the first round in the 2016 draft. We have the RT position that needs addressed, both safety positions, corner, RB...and we're here talking about taking a QB in the first?

My biggest problem with Dooley is his pet cat syndrome he has with Devin Street.

But it deserves mentioning that he was one of the driving forces behind getting Dez to run better routes and understanding the mental aspects of playing receiver in the NFL.

If they want to avoid the possibility of having some very DOWN years in 2017/2018 they should take the best QB available in the 1st round.

We can all hope Romo plays until he is 40 and never misses a game until then, however, the odds are against it.

Don't touch a quarterback? Have you been paying attention?

Tony has gotten hurt in three consecutive seasons. We need to start looking at his replacement.

Can't keep putting it off.
