Henry came into the league the same year Zeke did

Are you sure he won't be washed up very soon?
probably, but we're not looking to him as a long term solution. he also split carries his first couple of years in the league

Even if they did that Pollard still got a lot of carries. He’s also one of our best players.
Thing with both players, they aren't locked into future dollars. We also have to remember, team still has Zeke's contract coming off the books in another season, meaning, this won't affect future contract extensions for our core players. Believe Pollard reverts to that explosive player we saw last season as he won't be asked to carry the load now.

ravens seem to always be in the mix for guys we're on the fence about.
I have never been impressed with the Ravens under Lamar but i have to admit that the dismantling they did to Detroit last week left me in awe. If thats a consisitent theme KC and buffalo will have their hands full.

Tyron, Tyler, Biadasz, Zack, AND Steele have all been hurt and/or recovering from injury.

No time together in TC. Limited snaps together this season. I am hoping we will see a marked improvement starting Sunday
The OL has looked much worse then last year and we have are starters playing. Is it the new scheme, is it lack of continuity, is it injuries?

Can tell you Henry alone forces teams to play more base coverage, which will make it easier to pass the football.
Tannehill forces that too. They don't remotely fear him at this stage

The sleeper team expected to be in the market for Henry are the Dallas Cowboys. The belief from many is Henry could end up in the NFC East with the Cowboys if Tennessee is willing to eat some of the money remaining on Henry’s contract, estimated to be around $6.2 million.

The Cowboys have Tony Pollard at the top of the depth chart- a player they franchised after releasing Ezekiel Elliott in March. Henry’s power running style is viewed as the perfect compliment to Pollard’s big play ability as a ball carrier and pass catcher.

Pauline is proven to be one of the best insiders who has been on the money in the past.
FAKE news....made up story, nothing more!

IMO- Whether it’s Derrick Henry or some other RB, the Cowboys badly need to infuse some life into this running game/offense or we are headed to a 9-8/10-7 type season. Another “relevant” season for the Jones boys.
Agree, this team is more in that Detriot/Seattle class then it is the 49ers/Eagles. Have to do something to close the gap.

they're an odd situation. never really gave lamar a full complement of receiving help. and were more than happy to let him play running back. andrews, odell and flowers is paying dividends and they look like they ccould be scary. adding henry would only serve as a force multiplier

Tannehill actually was a decent QB with Tenn, where many thought he was a bust prior to him changing teams. They were a #1 seed in the playoffs.

I mean Ryan Tannehill, 2023

Yes, I agree that people underestimated him there for awhile. Was happy to see him get new life.
He still can be efficient at times. But nobody remotely fears him enough to not stack the box.

For us to get Henry would equate to Jerry admitting he was wrong on Pollard and Vaughn. Not going to happen. Jerry is never wrong on player evaluations because he's the smartest owner/GM in the NFL. We needed o-line help for a couple of seasons now. Jerry doesn't see it that way, so here we are. Another wasted year.
He did admit mistakes when they traded for Amari Cooper in season.

So now running backs matter lol. What happened to dime a dozen/easily replaceable? Henry behind this line the way they've blocked so far would mean what?

LOL, how much you willing to spend on Henry for 2-3 years?

That screams bad contract. Really bad contract.
Both Henry/Pollard would be fa's after the season which is attractive to the Cowboys as it wouldn't affect their cap situation. All depends on the price and how he performs.

Would be beyond insane to give up prime draft capital for an almost 30 yr old RB. There is no one player - or 2 or 3 players for that matter - that will make this mess of a team a champion.
Depends on the price, I cannot see a team giving up more then a day 2 pick.

I'll be proven right, his whole story is nothing but his OWN speculation, he has no sources what so ever..
Ok then. You have basically said nothing is happening. Multiple times in multiple threads. So basically. Everyone is lying. Except you.
