It is but when you have competition for his services anything can happen. I bet the Cowboys have to give up a 2nd to get him.A 2nd for a Henry rental is crazy talk.

You’re insider information on exactly what the Ravens are and are not doing is incredible. You skipped over the part about the Ravens being the favorites to land Henry. Another organization where winning actually matters. Apparently they arent as worried about the money part.
Henry gets people into the box. Opening up the pass game. No one is scared of our run game currentlyThe run scheme hasn't been creative.
The run scheme hasn't been blocked up properly.
There has been TFLs all over the place.
There hasn't been a commitment to the run.
Jerry just said in his radio interview, about an hour ago, that the passing game needs to help get guys out the box.
Does Derrick Henry get guys out the box, improve the play design and blocking execution of the OL?
Again, most of the guys here preach about overpaying RBs and how short the lifespan is for RB, yet y'all aren't hesitating to give up premium draft capital, for a RB who'll be 30 in 2 months in a rental capacity. Henry has y'all going against everything y'all been saying for a couple years haha.
I think the Ravens are the best fit for King Henry. If Dallas was to get Henry maybe he'd spark the Offense to perform better in the run, but that's a lot of hoping.
If we need that second rounder to pan out that badly doesn’t that mean we’re desperate for sure talentI would rather save the draft pick and use it to get a 21 year old RB who might play for five or more seasons with the team than a 30 year old winding down his career for a bigger chunk of the cap.
Let's pretend the window is wider than a single eason and not close it for the future.
This is the interesting question I would like to hear the answer on. In the eyes of Henry and his agent who is the better fit for the goals he wants to achieve?Ravens are hands down a better organization whose only interest is winning. Or he can come to the glitz and glamour of a team where winning is not a priority.
If it's money, he will get far more chances for "outside income" if he goes with the Cowboys and their very strong market. This is the interesting question I would like to hear the answer on. In the eyes of Henry and his agent who is the better fit for the goals he wants to achieve?
Are the Cowboys the landing spot he is looking for? My thought is he would look at both o-lines and running systems and determines which one he has a longer lifespan behind.
If it is only for a single year rental he would choose the one closer to the SuperBowl and playoffs.
From a closer look at the Ravens schedule I am giving the nod to the Ravens to come out on top of their division, and also be one of the best teams in the AFC since the demise of Bengals.
I think his highest value probably a day 2 pick, remember teams also have to take on his pro rated contract for this season.Henry is 28 and has bidders. The Ravens fans think if they get him they are going to the Super Bowl.
I have heard they really "like" Surtain as well, but there is no player I would trade multiple 1st rd picks for.Truth!
Heard his name get tossed around lately, especially with Taylor back. Like him, but also like Foreman from the Bears. As much as i love Henry, he's got a Ton of wear on the tires. I'd rather trade for Zac Moss of IND that was primary runner racking up 500+ yards so far, is a FA next year (IND just resigned there primary back) and would not command as much Money next off season as Henry to resign. he's a Good back just had Injury issues in College.
As we know there is always a tax traded in the same division, I wonder if the same goes for the conference, but you are right. That's wishful thinking, my friend. I admire your hope though.
I agree with #1, but not the lack of passing game. Teams are still playing extra men in coverage.I’m attributing it to two things:
1. A predictable scheme which shows little creativity.
2. An ineffective passing game that’s not scaring opponents into backing off the line of scrimmage.
The hope is they get better with more snaps. We are all crossing our fingers that they trade for an impact player, where they haven't made such a move since the Cooper trade. Henry or Surtain improves their chances of closing the gap.I don’t think it’s the scheme.
I think it’s primarily injuries, then continuity, then age/regression— in that order.
If they pick up their production— the whole offense will function better. I think being at home, being healthy, and coming off the bye will be good medicine for this team.
We get to 5-2 and head to Philly for a gigantic matchup on 11/5. Hopefully we head there with Derrick Henry in the backfield or another decent LBer or CB on the roster lol
Baltimore is overrated as an organization. Since winning the Super Bowl in 2012 they have had the same success we haveYou skipped over the part about the Ravens being the favorites to land Henry. Well said!I would rather save the draft pick and use it to get a 21 year old RB who might play for five or more seasons with the team than a 30 year old winding down his career for a bigger chunk of the cap.

That's why I mentioned Jerry, he's saying their already in the box.Henry gets people into the box. Opening up the pass game. No one is scared of our run game currently
While they might be “in coverage”, they’re not in deep coverage.I agree with #1, but not the lack of passing game. Teams are still playing extra men in coverage.
