If that were the case, you'd be quite popular...

so what do you think, judas?Rampage;2726087 said:it was a combo of things not just 1 reason. 1 more thing my opinions were based off of the interactions between the 2, there interviews, and body language not espn or any other media reporters.
#1 trying to hard to get him the ball. Jerry/Garrett/Romo all tried to get him the ball way too much that it started to hurt us more than help us. I blame all 4 of them for that.
#2 I don't think he's worth 10-12 million a year anymore. he's still a very good wr but not worth that money imo. it could be used to fix other areas like on defense.
#3 he's not trying as hard as he used to. when he didn't get the ball he'd be barely in the huddle/would block poorly or not at all/ ran sloppyy routes and sometimes gave up on them
#4 their's tension between him and Romo. i'm not getting that from espn i'm getting that from the body language when they talk about each other in interviews
#5 Drama. it always follows him whether he started it or not and he doesn't help it by continuing to talk to the media. setting a bad example to the younger guys on how to be professional.
got more reasons but it's been a little while since i've talked about him getting released. hopefully that's enough for you.
#5 - Drama - You can take that off the list cause that has nothing to do with execution.Rampage;2726087 said:it was a combo of things not just 1 reason. 1 more thing my opinions were based off of the interactions between the 2, there interviews, and body language not espn or any other media reporters.

#4 - What tension? Is it the tension you heard from ESPN, or did TO and Romo say their was tension?
#1 - Again, did the coaches say they were trying to hard to get him the ball, or did we make this up because of his past? Where is the proof? Did you have the play book? Did Wade say this?
#2 - Anyone who who puts up hangs 14 or 15 explosive touch downs, runs through defenses, scares the heck out of defenses so much that they constantly double team him at his age, he's worth it. my opinion
#3 - Sloppy routes - I've never seen him run sloppy routes, or again did you get this information from TV. Has Wade or Garrett said this? The guy down field blocking doesn't look like someone who's not trying.
Anyways, I'm done talking about him he's gone, I'd rather talk about Romo who's here.

What did Romo do last year? The team didn't perform last year.Rampage;2726407 said:#4 I already explained where my opinion on that came from
#1 watch the games. In fact watch the second washington game.
#2 he didn't do that last year
#3 again watch the games

...but of course, you are not.Judas;2726013 said:fans - some are great, others are hateful and ego driven. Some are unbiased, most are not. It's hard to find a fan that is completely unbiased all players on the team.
It's exactly for the first two reasons you list that I believe Terrell Owens will not be a first ballot Hall of Fame, but I do believe that he will finally enter the Hall one day. However, Ed Werder will not get a vote to block his election since he's not on the Board of Selectors:TwoDeep3;2726256 said:1. The press elects Hall of Famers.
2. TO has battles with the press.
3. Werder is on the committee, I believe.
Ergo...no soup for you, TO.

THUMPER;2722665 said:The Detroit Lions are second only to the Cardinals in terms of length of time since they last won a championship they have nothing to crow about at all. Their last title was in 1957, the year BEFORE I was born! At least the Cards made it to the SB last year while the Lions have set a record for most losses in a single season and being the first team to go 0-16 since we went to a 16-game schedule in 1978.
The Lions are one of the least successful franchises in the NFL. :lions:
