I bet Detroit fans are up every night praying that they win their first game. The schedule makers right now are probably looking at the schedule and laughing, "lets see... start them at home with Pittsburgh and away at Baltimore... no no ... away Baltimore, Saints, Seattle, then Home against Pittsburgh."

Sadly, they will probably open home vs Washington and win :(

Luckily for you, the Lions never beat the Skins. And last year they never beat anybody.:)

Is there anyone here, who even remotely believed that the simple act of Jerry Jones releasing Terrell Owens, could seemingly change a solid Cowboys fan (Clove) into... well... this (Judas)?

Yeah. Me neither.

I was wondering why Clove morphed into his alter-ego Judas and suddenly became the biggest Cowboy hater on the planet.

I didnt know he was that big of a TO fan to snap like this.

Guess he's a bigger TO fan than he is a Cowboys fan... which wouldn't seem to take much... so to prove it, he's becoming just the kind of squawking misfit that TO has always been...

One wonders why he's been unable to find a Bills message board, so as to continue his mindless idolatry of a card-carrying PITA...

I'm not a TO fan, I'm a fan of great play. That's why I don't like Romo.

No more excuses for Romo and Garrett. Ton of fans wanted him gone, so did Jerry and company, I guess here comes the super bowl. hahahaha yeah right.

Going to be interesting to see how Romo survives without instant touch downs that TO gifted him with, no more quick slants to the end zone. I guess we'll see what Romo is made of, but i'm sure more excuses are coming.

Oh please, when the Cowboys were 1-15, we were not making fun of anybody. We were ashamed and rightly so. 0-16, man. Freakin' 0-16!!!! They need to shut the hell up.

I wasn't ashamed. There is a yen and yang of the NFL. Not one team stays on top forever.

Coincidence?

Yeah. Right.
Honestly my dislike is mainly for the general Cowboy fan, and this started during the Quincy years.

Like I've said before, I've never seen a player treated as badly as I'd seen Quincy treated back in the day and to this very day.

Fans hated this guy and this was before they found out about the drugs, and to this day, they can't leave this guy alone. I used to hear all the time from other fans of teams, they would say that we are the most fake fans in the NFL and that ticked me off.

But after being on the Zone since 2004, finally joining and posting since 2005, all I've seen over the years is how horrible the interior of our fan base is.

Fans like to discuss everything except the bottom line. You want my honest opinion about TO, I don't care for him personally. I wouldn't hang out with the guy, I wouldn't go to lunch with him, he's not my type of guy.

But on the field, I want that guy on my side because he BRINGS IT ON THE FIELD. Fans didn't care about a player helping us, they cared about what TO was saying. Honestly, WHO GIVES A FLIP?

The fans wanted someone to blame, and without even trying to be subjective about the situation, they instantly turned on the guy as soon as the media said he said something about Witten and Romo. ESPN knew what would happen if they did this and it worked. It's like a woman yelling rape cause she knows the cops will automatically believe her.

My beef wasn't with TO being cut, my beef was with how the fans turned on someone who did nothing wrong, his crimes were occasionally *****ing about play calling, who stinking cares? Everyone on this board complains about something, but if TO does it, he's satan.

Meanwhile, for years all I did was make excuses for players who didn't execute on the field, and I'm sick of doing that. Since you like pulling up the past, how about you pull up the past where I was one of the first one's to say Romo would be a great QB?

I loved Romo even though he had horrible play on the field and I'm sick of doing that with players. If a player does it consistently and without a fan making excuses for him, I will support that player. But if a player has a couple of good games, then sucks for 2 and so on, I will torch that player.

Unlike most of the fans of this board and around the Cowboy land, I don't judge players on what they say, what they do off the field "unless it's illegal", who they date, if they are gay or straight, religious or not, black or white, slow or fast, ugly or cute "definitely". I judge them by what they do on the field, you guys should actually try it.

If Romo's release were the trigger, I probably would have, but since he's still on the roster, uh-uh.

One wonders why you continue to interact with that fan base, if that's your opinion...

Oh yeah, I forgot-- you're a troll... it takes a particularly sick puppy to keep on posting to message boards where he loathes the regulars, and is in turn loathed by those regulars...

I think they call guys like that "sociopaths"...

I don't think you really believe that, or else you wouldn't have spent so much time doing play-by-play for our benefit, and I damn know for sure you weren't this bitter until the collapse

c'mon man, I know there's some good still left in you, you don't have estrange some of your friends on here because the team let you down

I'm honestly lost for words.

Never once have I said anything about a person on here personally. I don't call people a joke, I don't call them stupid, I don't call them names, I simply talk about players who I think can't get the job done.

So if I come on here and say Romo is a great QB that will win us a super bowl and I don't seriously believe it, that makes me unlikable?

Well, I like guys like "pops" "sarge", "theogt" mammacita or however you spell her name, I like woodysgirl, yeager, and reality. I actually like bob sacamano, at least you know he's crazy, speaking of crazy, I like crazycowboy because at least he admits he's a blind homer.

Their are a few others I like including the guy I argue with all the time, rampage. I like a lot of people around here, but I don't respect a lot these people as fans, I don't know them personally, but as fans, I don't have much respect for a lot of people around here because I personally don't think a true fan turns on players who seriously helps the team.

Being pissed at fan behavior is no reason to be the Negative Nancy you have been lately. You're pissed at the players? Fine. You're pissed at the front office? Fine. You're pissed at the fans? Um, what does that have to do with your attitude toward the team? When you first started with the negative stuff, I thought it was a joke, but I guess you're dead serious. A lot of folks complain about homers (I'm a self-professed one), but being a hater is just as annoying. With your newfound Cowboys hatred laced as reality, your play-by-play will be interesting this coming season to say the least.

Here it is folks, Being Easter weekend I can reveal why the turn for Judas. I gave him 30 silver coins. MUAHAHAHA.

Seriously, reading the conversation back and forth, it sounded more like Judas feels TO was cut out as an excuse for Romo, not because cutting TO was the right football move. Most of the frustration I see in his posts are directed at Romo. and that probably comes from his original strong support of Romo, and Romo's end of year issues.

but that's just my two cents.
