Deuce Vaughn-Really?

Sorry but his style does not fit this offensive scheme at all.

Mike McCarthy is trying to bring back the offenses of the late 1980s and Vaughn is way out of place.

Deuce needs to be used in space.

No idea what Mike is thinking with how he is trying to utilize him.
This thread really?

They need to use him like Turpin. Having him run right up the middle won't work in the NFL
I’m sure they would if they were trying to score. This was run the clock time when you don’t run outside or expect first downs unless fortunate or great blocking.

He needs to get some meaningful carries. What we have seen so far is totally meaning less.

Yep…

He has 0 space to run because they’re selling out on the run.

That’s why a simple reverse to Turpin goes 60 yards.

People on here don’t know what they’re watching half the time.

Yet Luepke manages to walk right in for a TD.

If that would have been duece, the hype would have been bubbling over.

Duece is a complete liability. He goes down if someone even gets a finger on him. He got Dak killed twice.

And if that's not bad enough, the kid hates contact. He fears it. He tries to avoid it like the plague.

It's embarrassing seeing him on the field.

He can possibly be average at best. With big plays from time to time. Which is fine for where he was drafted. All the other thoughts of him being a star were a little overblown. Granted, very early in the season and career. Wish him well.

I'm not digging the dump offs to Vaughan. And all our RBs for years.

Let them catch the ball *on the run*.

Deuce looks like a good receiver. Catches the ball very naturally. And his quickness should translate into a big coverage problem. Using him with "stick route and wait" patterns is a waste of what he is.

I wanted... and was expecting some of his patented split back run scheme that placed big emphasis
on Misdirection and Stretch runs (as displayed in the Voch film session above) ...

It can be revised from 12 personnel (2 TEs, 2 WRs, 1 RB) ) to 21 personnel (2 RBs, 1 TE, 2 WRs)

This would have been perfect for the style and game fits for the likes of Pollard and Deuce.
The pass game has been dump offs for backs like TP and Vaughn.

I've been very disappointed in the scheme design and use of our backs in McCarthy scheme thus far.

Deuce is next man ^ YES REALLY. I bet we call Malik Davis ^ *** well.

From August. Some fans were going way overboard.

Everyone is pulling for him, but he’s not going to get near as many touches as fans are hoping for or are predicting he will get this season. Currently he has three backs listed ahead of him. I think he’ll make the team, but he could also end up on the practice squad.
He won’t even sniff 10 touches a game. There were a few games last season where Pollard didn’t even get 10 touches.

His blocking is just non-existent. Twice he made zero contact while Dak got killed.

What he offers is not worth his deficiencies.

I just think the game has not slowed down for him and remain patient. His game is all about jukes and timing all that up. He has not been using that part of his game yet. He has taken hits and gets up just fine. We can be patient. Bring up Davis and let's roll into Sunday night.

Ya know, you're supposed to love all of your children.

Dude stepped in and played a role not meant for him.
Someday, hopefully soon, they'll realize that #40 is the guy to put the game away in these situations.
And then a toss play to #42 will break free for a long one.
