Lloyd is overrated. He's not a freak athlete nor does he have freak playreading skills, so what are yall seeing?
Lloyd is a really good LB with play making skills. He has the leadership skills to go along with his game and is rated really high on most draft boards. I could envision Parsons and Lloyd lined up in the front 7.If Lloyd is there he is my pick no matter who is on the board
I don't see elite instictsA dude with good eyes / instincts that make plays.
The 40 is so incredibly overrated for LBs. You don’t want someone slow but the instincts are what make the game speed go.
Lloyd has NFL athleticism and his instincts allowed him to pile up tackles / TFLs / sacks etc at an absurd rate.
When you draft the LBr that runs fast that doesn’t have instincts you get Bruce Carter and Jaylon Smith.

Here's a good read, for anyone looking for an objective view on Kelvin Joseph.

Do we need 'another' Micah (I can hear the shouts of YES) or are we better served stopping the run, thus increasing 3rd down yardage. If Lloyd was there and we didn't take him, I think I'd be sick.

Don't see our pass rushing as a major issue and if we're hoping that LB's are going to transform our run defense isn't it more likely they reduce the damage (yardage) rather than stop it at source.
So what does Lloyd bring as a player? It depends on who is available. If Lloyd is there at 24 then he's probably going to be BPA over any DT or OL.
Do we need another Micah? That's not something you can expect every time you draft an LB. He probably would not be another Micah.
Pretty much all of my mocks / what I've seen has either Green / Johnson or Lloyd on the board. If Lloyd was there and we didn't take him, I think I'd be sick.
Which draft expert (or simulators for that matter) have Lloyd dropping (and what we're the reasons given?)Pretty much all of my mocks / what I've seen has either Green / Johnson or Lloyd on the board.
I would be happy with any of the 3. But I am sure the media would rip us a new one if we went OG over Lloyd even though OG is a bigger need.

,
So it appears that Lloyd may not be BPA at 24.All of the following are some that him falling after we pick. I am not sure we would select him, but there is some heat to this.
McShay/Kiper (31)
Lance Zierlein (26)
Ryan Wilson (25)
Chris Trapasso (26)
Josh Edwards (26)
Diante Lee (26)
The Athletic (28)
Sporting News : Vinnie Iyer (32)
Agreedonly LB i'd want at 24 is nkobe dean, georgia.
So what does Lloyd bring as a player?
The issue of picking solely on BPA (especially on defense and in a unit set to get the best out of Micah) is that the player's not necessarily scheme specific and we aren't spending 1st round extentions in 26/27 on two LBS.
If he is the BPA (which he probably would be...and possibly for the previous 5 picks) I'm sure someone would trade up.
