Personally, I hope he tumbles down the draft boards...all the way to #27. We don't need a WR in round 1, but I think we'd jump all over Dez Bryant if he were there at 27...no way we'd pull another Randy Moss.

Exactly, :hammer: thats why the cowboys are having dez in for another interview. I think it also shows how well our scouting department is. So, our scouting department saw this coming when the put the draft board together over several months ago.

I said over several months ago and several of u told me i was wrong, but I said dez would fall. I think our scouting dept saw this coming, had insight with the oklahoma st staff and like i mentioned, the first 3 players the cowboys interviewed for the draft were trent williams, jason fox and Dez.

the cowboys had to know something because they pick 27th.

Just like randy moss fell some due to his issues, i think dez will fall some too.

I'm not a big proponent of Dez, I figured when he was suspended he would fall in the draft. I will say I don't like to see anyone screwed over, it is easy to accuse much harder to defend.

If the rumors are true then I would stay away from him if not then I think he would be a good choice at 27 not my only choice at 27 but clearly an option for the Cowboys depending on what the Cowboys find out of course.

It'd be a gamble, but it could pay off big. The guy is a top 5 talent, with the potential to be an All Pro. I hope he reaches his potential as an OSU fan.

lol its funny how some cowboy fans are so infatuated with drafting wrs in the first rd. eventhough dallas doesnt do it and hasnt in a very long time.

dallas has a dez bryant type and then some. his name is miles austin. dallas doesnt need a guy who by all accounts cant take responsibility for his actions. didnt this board cheer for glory when the team got rid of a certain receiver with this very same problem?

i dont know if its stupidty or just hope that people are so stuck on the team drafting a wr in round 1.

oh by the way, per blogging the boys, and bryants agent,

dez will be in just for a visit,

its against nfl rules for draftees to come in for a workout, unless approved by NFL

Things change.

We also didn't win a playoff game in a very long time.

Miles Austin and then who?

After another year of Roy flopping around the other spot will be wide open.

Bryant can work his way into the offense this season and then be ready for a starting role come 2011. Add in Ogletree who looks to have a nice upside and we have the makings of a '2008/2009 Cardinals WR trio'.

That group killed it in 2008 and found themselves in the Super Bowl.

:post: it doesnt matter what wr we get, but a good one that can push the heck out of roy williams and some deep speed to stretch defenses, so our running game can excel because teams cant play 8 or 9 men in the box; which in turn will make it tougher on defenses and help our offensive line in blocking on passes etc....

If it turns out that he's telling the truth, and doesn't have any issues, and falls to #27, Jerry should draft him. Most of my inhibitions about drafting him are surrounding the reports of his character.

For the record, he should stay far away from Deion Sanders.

Put money on what?

You asked why people want to draft a WR.

I told you.

Lost parcells loving name? I changed the name. There was no bet involved whatsoever.

I love how you try and go back to history, and get it wrong, from five years ago because you look like a dummy. Same old Latin.

You still running that NFCBeast Message Board that started at the same time as my blog began?

:lmao:

You lasted like 17 days. I'm going on six seasons.

I don't think that is what he said at all. All rookies need to be monitored some. With his family background he needs to be surrounded by good influences which is what he'd get here in Dallas.

We'd be foolish not to take him if he's there at 27. Our offense failed us last year. OL can be had in the second and third round. I don't see him failing that far.

All this says is that some people think differently, like guilty until proven innocent. People are painting his rumored misconduct with the same brush as a Pacman or Brandon Marshall. None of us are involved in the interview process. If Jerry, Stephen, Wade, and Jason think this guy will be a good person/teammate, than I have no problem drafting him. All we have is opinions based on rumors. I'm sure none of us would like to be judged like that.

Really? lol.

You are a complete liar. I am not banned from any message boards.

And you don't know me. Trust that.

You and I were members of DCFU like five years ago together. My name on that board was ParcellsGuys. When the Cowboys signed T.O. I changed the name to DCFanatic. There wasn't any bet involved.

You have always been a ******* and everyone on here knows it. This is the reason you don't post on here besides in the graphics section. Same thing at CF and everywhere else.

The fact that you are lying on here isn't a surprise.

It's the same thing you did back in the day when you were booted from some boards because you were sending PM's to people to try and get them to go to your new message board - NFCBeast - which was gone in about 34 hours after you realized only four people were in your idiot click, lol.

You got busted doing so and were banned.

Giants fan. lol. Let me guess. Because I live in NY.

Lame. You always bring the lamest stuff bro.

Try growing up. Seriously, it's time.
