Just telling it like it is, it's pretty obvious why Dez was the next man up.

No. You're being willfully obtuse as usual.

I'm not going to denigrate Cole Beasley because I love him, but it's extremely disingenuous to try and put his numbers next to Dez considering the time he missed. Even including the missed games (and including the playoff game) he trumps Cole in yards and TDs by 5. That's not trivial considering it was a breakout year for him and a down year for Dez.

If was simply for star power this wouldn't be only his third trip.

Good for him, that being said, I wish him and the rest of the Cowboys come up with some sort of mysterious illness that would prevent them from playing in the game.

Beasley had a better year than Dez as did a number of WR's in the NFC. Close to 100 receivers had more catches than Dez this season and he was 3rd on his own team in receiving. He was way behind many receivers in receiving yards. He deserved his other trips to the Pro Bowl which earned him a reputation and anyone who follows the NFL knows the Pro Bowl is a lot about reputation. The playoffs had nothing to do with the voting, the Pro Bowl was already announced prior to the playoffs. Try keeping up.
