Dez Calls out Skip Bayless via Twitter

We all need to remember that this is more than just a football player . This is sports entertainment . Which makes players a public entity. And they're compensated as such.

They do have a responsibility to conduct themselves in a manner which is lawful and respective to society because they are representing a label. A product the NFL and their owners are selling and why they attempt to uphold some integrity.

These public personalities do have a cultural influence whether we like it or not . They will be subject to criticism .

To say there is no value or interest beyond their profession on the field is short sighted. The NFL is more than a game. It's a business first.

Is any of this applicable in this particular instance? Bayless tweeted something about Bryant. Someone replied back to Bayless. Bryant thanked the person who replied to Bayless.

???

I know these people start name calling like crazy. Don't agree, and it's foolish, ridiculous, ignorant ect...smh

And to your point, if you dress like that ( which is perfectly acceptable in certain places, I wear that to the gym too. I got 6 of them actually lol) in my neighborhood, the cops will pull you over, or if your walking, the gonna stop you. Guaranteed. 9x outta 10. My neighbors don't like that gear. They kinda look at me crosse eyed too lol

Appearance, presentation, how you act, look, is important. That is just the way it is. Wish life wasn't that way, but that is reality. If you dress like a slob people are going to think you are a slob. No two ways about it. If you dont care, then no problem, people are going to take it that you dont care. Persona matters. And the way you act and appear reflects upon the people around you, who you work for, your parents, your wife, children, ect....ect....

The bottom line is that its all about respect. Respect for yourself and other people. No matter how we all try to make in life without anyone else, you cant do it. Se la vi!!!!

How can BB be in the same sentence with class after he cheated? I don't recall Dez cheating the game. I guess the labeling of who has class can't objectively stretch beyond physical appearance. I guess the action of people must remain runner up to a subjective stance.

Nope I don't respect cheating either.

But I can tell you personally that I don't have the issues with things the Patriots have done like others have. Deflating a ball a tiny bit doesnt matter to me. Having spy's at other peoples workouts I am sure has been going on for decades and still goes on.

If you want to think Dez is a classy individual by the way he carries himself, by all means I respect that opinion. But you aren't going to change mine.

I look a guy like Prescott and Witten and see classy, mature, respectful, intelligent individuals. I see Dez as the polar opposite.

Not trying to change your mind. Just wanted to bring something to the table that was missing; facts.

They are discussing this on Undisputed this morning. Skip is addressing his tweet.

In North Korea and parts of the Middle East where right wing powers control most aspects of life you would not be offended or bothered by signs of self expression.

I am all for self expression in the right context. And what is Dez trying to express by the way? That big gold chain, what is that supposed to imply? That he is rich? Any common idiot knows that he is rich. Anyone can go into a store and buy one of those things for $50. And last time we heard about Dez and jewelry he stiffed someone on paying for it.

Buy one like it and I'll pay you 75$

Maybe he just likes it. He may not like some things you have.

Its almost like a guy with huge muscles wearing a small size shirt so people can see that he is big. If you're big, people are going to be able to tell anyway. You dont need a size small shirt.

I wouldnt call myself a snazy dresser. Im pretty much in shorts and a Tshirt 70% of the time. But when I go to work, I dont dress like a slob. As casual as possible, mind you, but respectful.

It's all opinions. You have yours. He has his. I have mine.

Since we're in a free country I think we should try to respect everyone's difference of opinions. As long as they don't hurt you. It would be hard to argue how a person may dress affects anyone. Especially in this case involving Dez.

We can agree on that. And I can tell you obviously that he doesnt give two hoots what me or anyone else thinks. That much is plainly obvious.

But the other side of the coin is dont complain when you dont get the benefit of the doubt or some people harp on you for things and criticize. Whether you like it or not every single one of us is making quick judgments and prejudging people every day. You have to.
