If I am a professional, it doesn't matter. And if I'm a professional I'm going to want passion not passivity.

There's professionals that don't want a teammate chirping in their ear when they're frustrated. That's how some shouting matches between teammates have occurred. I'm sure that's what set off the shouting match between Witten and Dez 3 years ago. Do you think Dez would handle it well if he came off the field frustrated and a teammate started following him, chirping in his ear? They leave him alone so he can stomp around the sidelines and blow off steam. We've seen what Dez does when he gets frustrated, he left the field once before a game was even over.

I like Dez. You don't. That's really more about you than Dez.

No one wanted us to draft Dez more than me. I've lost something for him over the past 2 years but I don't dislike him. I'm frustrated with his lack of production and plays the past couple of seasons. Since he signed that big contract extension he hasn't produced.

Not sure what 'chirping' you're talking about. But I was referring to the camera shot of Dez showing Butler how to secure the ball and turn the body to come down the the TD catch that got broken up. And, yes, I consider that working with him.

He was working with him there but he continued on past what we saw on that video. Dez ended up sitting next to him and started chirping at him. At that point Bulter appeared to have heard enough. Dez can't seem to let things go. Nothing wrong with talking to a teammate after a bad play but no need to stay on them. Say what you need to say and just walk away.

I know the shot you're referring to but I was talking about the camera shot of Butler sitting on the bench with Dez sitting next to him, chirping at him. Butler had an annoyed "get the hell away from me" look as he appeared to be tuning Dez out. It might not have been what it appeared but Butler looked as if he would have rather been left alone. Reminded me of the TO/McNabb sideline shot several years ago with TO chirping at McNabb and he kept ignoring him.

Do you remember the sideline shot last season of Dez chirping at Hardy? Did Hardy not look angry at him? lol That turned into a mini shouting match as Hardy was trying to walk away from Dez and he kept following Hardy chirping at him. I understand Dez is trying to be helpful but sometimes it's better to leave a teammate alone when they're frustrated. Dez can get pretty animated and not all players are going to be receptive to his chatter.
Where is hardy now? Oh yeah. You want to paint a picture of Dez as a villain. Go ahead. He ain't out of the league and getting into MMA. Not to mention the ordeal you are bringing up with Butler. After the game Butler said Dez was telling him how to secure the ball and move his body. That's it. That's chirping? No. That's constructive criticism. What you are spewing on here. That's chirping.

Sure: Sleevless hoody, over his head showing showcasing tattoed arms and a big gold chain around his neck.

Could he be dressed any worse?
In North Korea and parts of the Middle East where right wing powers control most aspects of life you would not be offended or bothered by signs of self expression.

In a free country you don't have the right to not be offended.

Get over yourselves and if it doesn't harm you don't worry about it. Don't judge it either. It's unbecoming.
Again, there are countries where this isn't a problem and they welcome your types that want control over others expression.

It happens. I'm not the one that does the policing or the judging, like I said I wear the same clothing at the gym, but if you wear those things in certain locations/ communities around Dallas, you will get approached. I believe Dez already was asked to leave North Park for saggy jeans. That's right he was. If you walk down Preston hollow, highland park, university hills, and about 10 other communities/ suburbs in Dallas, you will be questioned or looked at. Like I said, I dress the same way ( going to and from the gym), and it's an issue sometimes. This seems like a more appropriate topic for Punndits.

And I do not speak as if dressing like that is akin to showing up someplace w a trench coat and ski mask. I'm simply stating a fact: certain communities will find his clothing and dress objectionable. Period. Did I not say I wear the same things cause I do, do I get looked at?- yes. Is this right- not necessarily. Do I agree- not necessarily, but it does happen.
Are you sure it's because of how they dress?
Were you ever asked to leave or approached by authority for your chosen clothing?
You're naive. IMO.

Good find. Revealing.

I guess he is the good cop and SAS or Shannon is the bad cop.

It sells. I guess

He was either disappointed in himself or didn't want to hear what Dez had to say. Probably a combination of both. It was obvious by Hardy's reaction last season to Dez's chirping that he didn't want to hear what he had to say. I've heard some soundbites of Dez chirping on the sidelines and it can be annoying especially to a player who's not in the best of moods.
I'm with you.

It's weird how some can't take a hint that there input isn't needed or wanted. :)

Nothing like a little racism against our own players with my morning coffee.
Ahh. Refreshing take. I wasn't sure I was allowed to say it.

Isn't it odd that they think they can mask it with inventful terms?

Somehow I get the feeling many on this board would align with their political and social beliefs just as they do as fans. I'm not sure of that and I'm sure there's a few exceptions but, it's a theory.

Would you like a teammate chirping in your ear when you're frustrated after a bad play or would you rather be left alone?
Maybe not but, I'm a man who has played organized sports and I can take a little criticism. Sometimes coaches could be meanies too but, I fought through it.

If fans didn't tune in , Skippy wouldn't have a platform .

We are fueling these outrageous media personalities for their own profit.

Why? I like when these coward mediots get called out!!!
I'm sure such exchanges are entertaining for some people but what the pro athletes do for a living is the only form of entertainment otters desire from them--or need. If necessary, non-athletes can engage the pseudo personalities on social media platforms themselves. Fans can tweet media heads and get "righteous satisfaction" in defense of the pro athletes. That's "winning" and entertaining at the same time, lol.
