How anybody takes this guy seriously if beyond me. How anybody doesn't take him seriously but watches him for entertainment is beyond me. To each his own, but let's not pretend in here the guy is anything but a deceitful hack who's made a decent living off of manipulating the gullible. This is the sports equivalent of 'what plants crave.'

Bkight, ratings for his new show are up 358% for that time slot, and the 18-49 demo 733%

It has siphoned viewers from First Take, who's ratings are down by 28% over Undisputed's first month.

A lot of people are watching FS1, now. Whether it's hate-watching or otherwise, that's pointless to their execs.

I think it's funny that so many of y'all hate these shows. Get a grip (not directed at you Bkight).

ETA -- FS1 on DirecTV is lumped right in the middle of the sports channels, no where close the the news/political channels.

Not only hate them, but watch them so they can comment on how much they hate them I don't care for that type of programming myself and I don't watch that stuff. It just makes sense that if you don't like the show or those on the show, then don't watch it/them.

I honestly don't know why any Cowboys fan would even want this clown to be "associated" with the Cowboys, he is a complete joke, can't stand to even see his face.

Oh, there's obviously a lot of people that like them, and that's great for them. I'm just a grouchy old fart who doesn't go for the nonsense.

Just to add, what I don't get are all the people who watch Bayless (and the SAS guy) and then come on here and blast them for being worthless. If they're that bad, then why are you watching? It's all entertainment and nothing to get worked up about, really, but we all still do it.

It's weird how some can't take a hint that there input isn't needed or wanted.

It's fine to give impute but players need to have a short memory and move on from a bad play. It's hard to move on if you have someone in your ear who keeps reminding you of the mistake you made.

Maybe not but, I'm a man who has played organized sports and I can take a little criticism. Sometimes coaches could be meanies too but, I fought through it.

A little criticism is fine if it's constructive but during a game you make your point and move on to the next play. Dez isn't a coach and no coach is going to chirp at a player for a long period of time during a game. You have to allow the player to forget about their mistake and move on. Dez has a tough time moving on from things which is why defenders are able to get inside his head. He has thin skin which has caused him problems on the field and caused him to react to the comments Bayless made.

Same here. I used to excitedly start my football Sundays with the pregame shows and finish with the post game shows. Not any more. I simply turn the TV on at game time and off after the game. Kind of sad, but that's what it has come to. There isn't a single decent pre/post game show in existence these days, IMO.

Maybe Twitter and the Internet spoiled us tho too ya know
