Twitter: Dez goes off on reporters in lockerroom after practice

And in a way, that is their job.

There is a reason print media is dying.

And that grizzled reporter with a pencil behind his ear writing romantic stories about sports players does not exist anymore.

which is very sad as professional sports writing has lost it's credibility and integrity as well.

I am not a JJT fan. But I highly don't think he did either, and if he did I don't care obviously Dez has an issue with him and that is their business.

I don't necessarily care either, but I do think people need to be careful implying that others are unprofessional when they're not or racists when they're not.

That has broader implications for our society in general.

You will not get it. Romo is a good leader, but not cut from the same cloth as Bryant. He is a bit above commoner things like this.

Prediction: After their careers, Romo will have almost nothing to do with Dez. This won't be an Aikman-Irvin bond.

A great response.

It is a very tough gig. Corporate owned media demands "clicks" for advertisers. Your job as a reporter these days is simply to get eyes on the advertising. If we are going to blast the "media," then let's at least understand the context in which they are trying to operate.

I agree, but in this case this seems to be personal between the 2 of them, and there has to be more to the story between them. Dez going off over something he heard 2nd hand doesn't make much sense IMO. Yes I know Dez went off over the article JJT wrote, and didn't show up in the locker room it angered Dez a bit right or wrong.

I miss the good old days as well, but to expect people making their living within the landscape as it is to be like they were twenty, thirty years ago shows a complete lack of perspective. I don't have to like the media and how they do business.

I don't care for lawyers all that much either. But I will not discount they have a right to perform their profession to the best of their abilities.

No. That darn EVIL MEDIA is attacking my favorite team or player again! That will just not stand.

I just really don't read them anymore

I just really don't read them anymore

I read them because that is how I can gain information. I just filter out the noise and take the relevant with the nonsense.

If people read sports media and get bitterly mad about it, well, I have no alternative than to question their mental acuity.

The media can be upsetting at times. I get aggravated as well sometimes.

But to pretend like there is some motive by the media specifically directed at your team, is laughable.

Want to get mad about Dallas being a huge story whenever something small happens? Blame the real reason why.

This organization craves relevance.

Just like Garrett might have FINISH up in the locker room, I bet the Cowboy PR department has a RELEVANCE sign up.

Indignation notwithstanding the fact that this lengthy thread on the incident is feeding the very beast that is the supposed object of loathing

I can hardly stand this place whilst losing, people always piling on.......its like y'all wait for "see look how bad things are *smirk*"

Might have to look back in the "Dez Tape" thread and see who was going off in there too

Is this a continuation of when Dez blew up at reports after the Seahawks loss?

Is this the new norm for Dez?

Cowboys lose a game and he blows up in the media?

Dez Bryant directs profane rant at reporter
Posted by Mike Florio on November 12, 2015, 3:11 PM EST

We interrupt the ongoing coverage of Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy doing things for which he’s criticized for the latest behavior from Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant for which he’ll be criticized.
Via Robert Klemko of TheMMQB.com, Bryant “blew up” on a reporter, as part of a 10-minute rant.

I apperciate Dez because when he speak about anything I don't feel so self-conscience.

Geesh. Present company excluded, I hope.
