Twitter: Dez goes off on reporters in lockerroom after practice

Let me know when there is an apology by the media for the supposed Walmart Video.

So a player can go off on anybody in the media?

Heck, maybe Dez should go off on Sturm too right? Guilt by association right? After all Sturm is media right?

What an idiotic justification.

Maybe all NFL players should be treated like criminals because of the likes of Ray Curruth, Aaron Hernandez, etc...

See how stupid that childish 'they are all the same' line of thinking is?

I'd love to see get hounded by the media time after time after time and now explode at least once or twice.

It's human nature. When people are always bullying you for no reason at some point enough will be enough and you're gonna go off.

I have a tough time believing ANY reporter would use the n-word toward a player.

These are the minds of children.

I heard he used it in the ni**a form like they're all "bros," but neither Dez or Devin cared for it. Obviously, since they loathe most ot the media like the rest of us.

Smear this great man? Isn't that a bit rich?

From all indications he screamed at JJT for using the N-word based on info that increasingly looking like it wa BS.

You'd make a wonderful defense attorney DMC.

Well, I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but what I heard was him yelling at the media to report stories correctly, and it escalated because of what Street reportedly said. If I'm in Dez' shoes, it having been reported that he had a sideline tirade last season when he was just amping his teammates up, having had it reported that there was a Walmart parking lot tape that never materialized during his extension negotiation, having it reported that he's saying 'that's what you get' to a seriously injured player, I'd be pretty fed up with the media generally, too. I don't know how much of that related to JJT specifically, but my own experience with JJT says the guy sucks at his job, so it wouldn't surprise me to hear Dez has a similar opinion.

Either way, if he did yell at him, he ought to just buy him some chicken wings and smooth it over that way. Problem solved.

I wonder what excitement tomorrow's going to bring?

Garrett v. Marinelli fistfight. Garrett doesn't like the nickname 'Red Bomber' and so he cuffs Marinelli's ears by clapping the side of his head repeatedly until Marinelli collapses in a heap. Dez says 'that's what you get,' and JJT is there to report tweet it live for us all.

So, I just don't get it. It's okay for us fans to sit on a forum all day, complain about the state of media today, but when players/celebrities call them out on it...they are going too far?

What are they supposed to do? More players need to speak up. I give not one reporter at ESPN a pass. This is the tipping point started by the media. Spinning stories, taking things out of context on purpose, but we expect players to stay calm and collected around them?

These major outlets throw out one sensational story and rarely ever follow it up with facts. They didn't do it for Dez a few year with his mother, they aren't doing it with Hardy. People STILL label Dez a "mother beater" because of initial stories and outlets not following up.

No sympathy for the media. Again, I'll say, it's hypocritical that people who can't handle a team losing on a message board telling players/celebrities to keep their cool or criticizing them when the media has it out for them and makes it their goal to tarnish reputations.

You think the media's job is to be factual?

Tell me you are not serious.

And no, I am not just talking about football.

This started last week. Dez fired off something on Twitter about what JJT wrote last week regarding Dez against Seattle.

I like Bryant as a player, and he's not the only one this season with rabbit ears when it comes to the media. You would hope the players would have much more thick skin, mental toughness when it comes to things like this. These guys are melting down over the media? Soft.

When did I ever say they HAD to be factual? Point out where I said that.

However, when it comes to respect - ignoring facts for clicks and views, that's poor way to go about it. You can't do that and expect NOT to piss people off.

So if the media falsely wrote and said things about you............soft if you say something about it?

Other people don't get mad ever? Just me and Dez?

One of the best wide receivers in the game is soft? I'd love to see you post evidence of any players or coaches willing to go on record and say Dez Bryant is soft.

The media has a responsibility to be factual. It's part of the job. The ones that consistently stink at it damage the reputation of the companies they work for. How much damage it does is a function of what consumers will accept.

Personally, I have zero use for sports reporters who can't get it consistently right. Getting it wrong is for fans on message boards.

Okay, I'm the media

Mr.Garett I have sources who tell me you're slacking at the end of the month, is that because you're spending all your time killing and hiding puppies?

Okay, you say keep your mouth shut or you're soft:D

Why say anything, a columnist's opinion matters that much to him? If you aren't smart enough or mentally strong enough as a professional football player to know that a columnist such as JJT is paid to give an opinion, and it sometimes is negative, you should have picked a different profession.

I would say Romo has been knocked more in the media than anyone in that locker room, how many times has he responded like that?
