Not because he's the worst player in the world but because he's not elite and this is the future at QB of the Dallas Cowboys we're talking about here. I want the QB to be the make up to cover the blemishes of the team not the team having to cover up the acne of the QB.

Risen is the Skip Bayless of cowboyszone. Even when the evidence proves him wrong time and time again, he will never admit the undeniable truth. Dak is unquestionably a franchise QB. You can't always get the best QB in the league.

In six playoff games, Romo had eight TD passes and two interceptions. His QB rating was better than 100 in three of the games. But you go ahead and keep using baseless words like "turnover prone." It makes your argument look so much smarter.

Anyway, I'm not going to make this about Romo's play. The criticism he gave was fair. Dak and Dez have not worked out the kinks in their on-field relationship. They need to keep working on it because the more they can connect, the more dangerous this offense will be.

So by the same notion, what your saying here is that Wentz is not a franchise QB. Since he evidently could not make last years receiving corp better, the Eags had to go out and totally revamp their receiving corp from FA and the draft.

Why is it you assume Dak has reached his ceiling? I can understand your desire for him to be better but for a 2nd year qb who everyone thought was a developmental type it would seem you have zero patience for him. Dak does a ton of things well already. He is a high character kid by all accounts and is a grinder. Do you ever think one day you will realize Dak actually improved and he can make that pass now or do whatever you said he couldn't. I mean you treat him like a five year veteran who has capped out, and for what? to be right?

39 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in his career so far, not including his 10 rushing touchdowns. He's 18-7 as a starter. And he's only in his second year - I think we can remember where Romo and Aikman were in their second year. He has improved every week.
