T. Williams will be the best receiver on the Cowboys roster by next season. He's already a better deep threat. hes already runs a better comeback route.Mark these words.

In Michael's prime, he was the best in the business. Dez isn't close to being the best.
I dont know what sounds the most crazy.
your Orton > Romo claim
or Williams > Bryant

Much of Dez's story could play out in a different uniform after next season. Dez could be in line for a $14-18 mil per season extension. And The Cowboys simply won't be able to afford that with their cap situation.

One or two of the following 3 won't end up staying w/the team after their current contracts: Dez Bryant, Tyron Smith, Bruce Carter.

That may be true but jerry will not let dez get away for better or worse

Dez is better than Bob Hayes. All he had going for him was his speed. Irvin has said multiple times that Dez is much more talented than he was. Drew Pearson could never go up for the ball like Dez can. He's well on his way to be the all time best Cowboy receiver. He's not there yet though.

I've read several times that Hayes actually changed the way the game was played because he was the first super fast receiver. That was way before my time but If he was & defenses had to change it would seem he would be historically the best of the two. I guess we'll see when Dez is done though.

He did change the game. Defenses had never encountered his type of speed before. At the time, he was the fatest man on earth. But that's all he had was his speed. He only had 371 receptions during his career. Dez has much more all around ability.

I still think Moss was the most physically gifted, and there are 2 other guys in the league right now who I'd say are more physically gifted than Dez. (Johnson, Julio)

But he's certainly the most physically gifted WR the Cowboys have had. Bar none.

Moss was physically gifted but absolutely refused to risk himself over the middle. Moss was the best, bar none, at going up and getting the ball. His speed coupled with his length was pretty spectacular.

And what does Julio have that Dez doesn't? IMO, they are of the EXACT same mold. Julio might have a bit more speed. Dez would have him on jump balls any day..

Sorry won't happen. Jerry is not going to let his prized player walk. He took a huge gamble on Dez and he's quickly becoming the face of the franchise and becoming the most marketable and profitable player for the Cowboys brand. If any of the 3 won't be here it will probably be Carter. Smith and Bryant are core young guys and you don't let that talent walk and Jerry has never let a guy he's wanted to keep walk. That would be huge blunders and a disaster. People are making the cap thing such a huge deal and every year it comes and passes and the team is drafting better and better.

I think that dez is the most gifted receiver physically anyone has ever seen. As we saw early this week Dez is beating Calvin Johnsons stats for his first 3 years by a lot. If Dez keeps maturing in his game and route running he could possibly be a top 10 receiver in history.

Calvin Johnson had Dan Orlovsky throwing him the ball in an 0-16 season during his first three seasons. He did not get Stafford until his 3rd season and stafford could not stay healthy at first. Dez has had Tony slinging it. I love Dez but this comparison based on first 50 games is silly. Dez is just fine being Dez, who cares. At some point Calvin will wear down in next 5 seasons, could be beginning right now, and we will truly see Dez in discussion for best WR with AJ Green and Julio Jones. I love the guy has proved other teams wrong who passed on him in the Draft and he is staying out of the headlines for the wrong reasons.
