Sorry if a repost but I just saw Dez Byrant, Barry Church, David Irving to IR.

Filled by WRs Vince Mayle and Rodney Smith from the practice squad. And former draft bust from a few years ago, CB Josh Thomas. Yes, that guy who got beat out by David Buehler in a foot race.

Should have been placed on IR from day one of the injury.....poor judgment from the organization from such a serious injury

what does the staff have to do with Dez needing a few minor surgeries? He was medically cleared to play, and this could be entirely different issues.
Oh, just a continued way to knock the staff....

Yeah that's exactly what it is. And what?

I posted several times that the team rushed him back and that he wasn't 100%. Surprised how many wanted to argue with me about that. He wasn't a speed burner to begin with hopefully his best days haven't come and gone. Jerry is probably regretting not forcing him to play under the franchise tag. With Dez coming off a miserable season and an injury that requires surgery he could've gotten him cheaper. Figures all this would happen right after we sign him to a mega deal.

Our training staff is horrible. Why didn't they prevent our players from getting injured?

My lobotomy went well, thanks for asking.

Pretty much this. I'm also finding it amusing and interesting that almost everyone was wanting Dez to come back as soon as he could and now it's he shouldn't have come back at all. Look it was a risk it didn't work. And as you said this season was over anyway so get whatever needs to be done now in preparation for next season.

It doesn't take much for the Pitchfork Brigade to get riled up.

Bring the posse to vilify the guy!!!! How dare he need surgery from coming back too early to a misfit coaching scheme and inept QB play. How dare Dez!!!

And you would be wrong... Next

How so? DB's know that they can get into his head as long as they continue to trash talk him during the game. Dez just can't jog back to the huddle, he's always got to be jawing back and forth with a DB. His route running has only improved a little bit, now that can be attributed to our 3 terrible QB's this year but how many other big name WR's do you see getting involved and making things happen? I never really cared for Irvin but the guy was always there. He could walk the talk. So before you get all cute with your "next" comment, lets look at things realistically. I like Dez and I am cheering him on but he's got to start maturing as a player.

That was Deangelo Smith from Cincy that he beat in the foot race.

It explains why he hasn't looked to be himself. We still need other WR's to take pressure off of Dez and it would help if he can work on some techniques to get free from quality CB's. He is too easily shut down and there has to be ways that he can improve in that area when he is back and healthy.
