Witten leading receiver. T Will 2nd, Beasley 3rd, and Dez 4th int the post season.

Cowlishaw says this means Dez shouldnt get top WR money.

Our coaching staff lets Dez get taken out of the game. Sometimes you just have to force the ball to him, like Romo did on the 4th and 2, and he'll come down with it (provided the refs don't screw us over and call a legit catch incomplete).

People that actually watched the games know Dez played great, and easily deserves "top WR money". It's not always about the number, Dez can be held catchless and still dominate a game.

He's huge to the offense. He has to be paid. Without him nothing works on that side of the ball. Don't think the franchise should be on the table in any real sense either. He's the one guy who could blow up the Era of Good Feelings quick if he went diva.

Plus Cowlick is a tool who wouldn't know a football if it hit him in the earhole. I always thought a good Cowboys alternative to the ice bucket challenge would have been time have him, Steve Dennis and Goose raise money by volunteering to have the highest bidder punch them in the face. Could have cured cancer.

With constant double coverage on Dez am I crazy to think Williams should be getting himself open more?

Which is why I get a good chuckle out of the few on here who say to let Dez go. TWill barely gets open WITH Dez getting double teamed. Imagine how it would look like without an elite receiver across from him.

The stats say that he was the 4th most productive but we all know that stats lie. Dez is a legitimate number one receiver on this team that commands double teams. That is a valuable commodity.

On the other hand, Dez has weaknesses, which I think are largely mental lapses due in part to emotion. If you could give Dez Bryant Jason Witten's brain he would be the best receiver in the NFL. He is probably in the top 10 in physical ability, but lower than that in other areas such as "game situational awareness". If he had just made sure he made "the catch" instead of going for the touchdown we would still be in the playoffs.

Dez has to make the next progression as a receiver on the mental side if he wants top 5 receiver money. He might get it anyway, but Dez has his warts and they are largely mental.

I will say this....Dez has matured a lot mentally as a receiver and he is not the problem I thought he would be. I would like to keep him. I just think top 5 money is more than his consistent play warrants. But an average of the top 10 would be fair money for him.

Beyond dumb. Watch the games. Dez was getting double and sometimes even triple coverage on every play. There's a reason Witten, Beasley, and T-Will were open so often..

And Dez moves into the pack of the others if the disputed play is called a catch.

They'd have been watching the playoffs without Dez going off in the last month. Of course better teams are going to scheme him out somewhat and force lesser talents to make plays.

Colishaw is an idiot
I don't want to pay Dez top 5 WR money but he definitely needs to be in the jordy Nelson range of slightly higher
Dez is the reason (along with our run game ) that the other receivers have better numbers

Don't let the New York officials' "judgement" take away from what a great play Dez made. He secured the ball. Like everybody else he thought he had already completed the process because he had. I will never fault him for trying to get as much as he could after making what should've been one of the greatest catches in Cowboys playoff history.

Sounds like my heavy-betting-Bears-neighbor who was blasting Garrett for not targeting Bryant more in the GB game. I responded that Bryant was double covered all day, and then asked him who scored the big 38 yard TD. Single-coverage Williams, that's who. With TWill emerging into a more dominant role during the last half of the season, he will put a lot of pressure on the defensive backfield. Cowlishaw needs to remember who Romo went to for the win

And on Twills big td against the lions....Dez had not 1...not 2, not 3 but 4 Lions on him.

Pay the man.

Provided we aren't cursed
