The team deserves to have him honor his contract. Elliott actually owes the team since he can't quite stay out of trouble. Not all early picks deserve a pay raise

Do you have proof? All early picks won't hold out. Thinking they would is what owners would want you to believe.
Yes...Do you have proof?
As long as teams can cut players, players should be able to hold out. Works both ways. The team deserves to have him honor his contract. Elliott actually owes the team since he can't quite stay out of trouble.

That's on the NFLPA about being able to cut players. As long as teams can cut players, players should be able to hold out. Works both ways.
Te lo sico! That's on the NFLPA about being able to cut players.
But to hold out and not honor a contract? That, bloke, is chicken feet. Hold out. Withhold his salary. That's another thing that's allowed in the NFL contracts. Works both ways, bribon.
La tuya!Te lo sico!
You would make a terrible GMAs long as teams can cut players, players should be able to hold out. Works both ways.
Wrong. Emmitt didn’t have a contract. That’s a huge differenceIts a 5th year option. It protects the owners when they have a valuable player.
Zeke is doing what Emmitt did after his third year.
Dez is right.
Just playing devils advocate here for a second. Perhaps he’s saying he played thru a lot of injuries and should have gotten compensated sooner.
Then what’s the point in giving them guaranteed money? So hypothetically they could give Zeke 50 mil guaranteed and he decides he doesn’t want to play anymore or decides he wants even more money a year down the road, what guarantees do the owners have that they can get that money back?As long as teams can cut players, players should be able to hold out. Works both ways.

I was a coach. I'll leave the GM stuff to you.You would make a terrible GM
I'll leave that up to the business people, I just want the best players on the field. Then what’s the point in giving them guaranteed money? The players already got a large chunk of their money and many will be set for life off that guaranteed money, what do the owners get if that player decides he wants to sit?
The they should get rid of the salary cap which I’m personally not a fan of.I'll leave that up to the business people, I just want the best players on the field.
