Dez to avoid lining up vs. Sherman?

From July

The Cowboys receiver was leaving a steakhouse in Beverly Hills when the reporter approached him on the street and, for whatever reason, asked him about the feud between Seattle Seahawks corner Richard Sherman and San Francisco 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree.

"I'm not in that," Bryant responded with his hands in the air. "I respect both players, they're both good players. I love both of their games."

The reporter then asked what Bryant would say if Sherman had called him "sorry," just as Sherman did to Crabtree after the NFC Championship Game on live television.

"We have respect for one another," Bryant said. "There's really nothing like that."

he seems to finally get it now. Doesn't he?

Route combinations and accurate throws beat this secondary. You're not just going to be able to line a guy up anywhere and expect him, whether it's Dez or not, to just beat the CB in front of him. Their CBs and Ss are very talented and disciplined playing their zone. Our best shot is our running game keeping us ahead of the chains making the 3rd downs manageable and less predictable.

Romo has to be certain of his reads. This zone Defense loves to mix it up and jump routes. This is definitely Romo's biggest test this year. Maybe in his career.

I think Dez wants the matchup. Sherman wants it too. You'll see massive respect from both sides there.

After I saw Garcon and him get into it. Just leave Dez on the other side. We don't need any of that.

I say Line Dez up vs Sherman. They really really trust sherman.

They play a ton of single high, and I see Thomas always cheat to Maxwells side. So if they dare to leave those guys 1 on 1. You throw it up, may the best man win. I say we keep doing it, even if it results in a pick the 1st or 2nd time. 9/10 Dez is making the play or nobody is.

we just need to run the ball to bring Kam up a little bit. if they shut Dmo down with seven in the box it's over.

I doubt very seriously they would leave Sherman 1 on 1 with Dez Bryant. If so then let's take advantage of that.

I'd rather us not play a scared offense where we try to hide our elite receiver. If Sherman is on him, so be it. You have to expect Dez to make plays. Phillip Rivers didn't play scared ball, and that's how they won. You respect the Seahawks, but if you are allowing them to dictate your game to where you need to hide your best receiver, then you already lost.

I feel like Seattle buzzes their LBers quite a bit, and when they don't, they sneak Chancellor in as a spy instead. this allows them to keep a DB on top of the WR and a LB inside, while Thomas cleans everything deep up.

The key will be Williams and Dez getting off the bump equally well, and pressing past the buzz zone to create windows. And then Romo not misjudging the depth of his throws, which Seattle LOVES to feast on.

If we win this, I don't know what crazy Jerry will do. Lock up Garrett for 10 years, put his wife on the cheer-leading squad.. Release a couple more pictures of himself with young girls as an F-U to all his haters...

He might try to buy the Space Needle.

Looks good for Dez then, even wouldn't be concerned if he did go against Sherman. Not concerned with what happened 2 years ago. Like you said, protect Romo, plus we have a better OL & other weapons too.

As Garrett says, "It's about us. It's about what we do."

It's good time for Romo to use his shoulder pump fake like he use to. That was a big weapon for him. I don't know why he doesn't use that as much anymore.

Why do you say that? Just because it's Dez? Sherman doesn't show respect to anyone, including some of the best players in the game. Brady, Manning, Crabtree, Rodgers, Garcon, etc...

Is it because he's the best in the league? No, he's just a ridiculously immature moron.

I'm not sure that's entirely true. He does have a big ego, but off of the top of my head, I think he does respect Rodgers and Fitzgerald.

The best way to get his respect is to beat him.

Dunno, running up to Rodgers after the game and asking if he purposely avoided him would get on my nerves. Maybe not the worst example of disrespect he's shown but far from respectful.
