Not to bring up an old subject but why would we not have at least given Sam a shot or even Boatright?
The fact that Sam isn't on any NFL roster should provide the obvious answer,,,

I noticed the defense shut down the Bears running game the majority of the night. Too bad our pass defense can't do the same.
Are you the guy that admitted earlier to not knowing the difference between a 1-tech and 3-tech ?
.........that's where they could get some good use out of Bruce Carter--he has ability to blitz(,it also showsup in ability block punts), put him in position to succeed........in a area of deep need
and to at to the 1tech 2tech i dont really know how they judge which player goes under which category week 2 week on this team
and Big i hate the cliche but hes "our poor mans" Vince Wilfork
1 and 3 are just numbers of gaps. 3 if off a shoulder and signifies a guy beating a Guard one on one.
1 is over the Center and usually means playing both sides of the center tho Ratliff would shoot either side as a 1T.
Numbers generally are 1,3,5,7,9.
Offense does the same thing. 27 sweep is the 2 back rushing 7 hole. Off tackle.
Offense will have 0,2,4,6,8 as well defining strong and weak side plays.
If you don't know something that simple then how would your opinion on DLaw be relevant?yes...and so that makes D-Law better?
He didn't play last night, missed a significant portion of training camp and preseason and most of the regular season. All this as a rookie. He has only been a Cowboy for 7 months.
I know but I would like to see something. He seemed to get swallowed up by ol.
He looked good. He's very strong and pushed the OLineman blocking him back consistently. They even played him on some passing downs where both DTs play as a 3-tech with a gap in the middle of the Line. He got off balance on 1 play, but generally looked good.
Well that's a good sign, hopefully he'll be ready for more snaps against Philly
Yeah but how did he grade out by PFF?
< ducking >
Bro #NOMORE ... he wasnt on the field last nite and we WON, HE is a LET DOWN we traded up for the guy and he is playing like a 7th rounder, just suck it up say he sucks rite now and move on this aint pop warner
my opinion on dlaw is simple..expectations were high, anyone can say well hes a rook or hes been hurt. But in all honesty he was someone when we drafted we wanted to make an immediate impact , and he has not been that
