According to those with inside knowledge, he's the hardest worker, and hardest studier on the team, basically living in the film room. Try harder next time.

According to inside knowledge, huh? According to outside knowledge aka reality we know this. He publicly undermined a playoff loss, true or not, it's not sometig you say publicly as a leader when millions of fans are po'd. We know he decided to hang out in Cabo during a bye week before playing a divisonal rival in the playoffs. We know he's doing skits whether before or after his recent injury is irrelvant. We know and saw him flirting with Jessica Simpson and other women on the field during warm ups before big divsional games.

Sorry, I call it how I see it, not on what "insiders" say.

Oh lighten up. I'm sure he'd much rather be on the field than filming comedy skits. Besides, we don't know if this was in fact filmed after the injury or prior.

Again, it's his history that contributes to my discontent. Pre first or second injury is a moot point. If I was paid millions of dollars to represent a billion dollar franchise with millions of fans watching me...the last thing I would do if I was supposed to be injured is making comedic skit on tv. I guess that's just me, I must be crazy.

When you get paid millions of dollars and with his history of minimizing what most fans consider important, I don't find it the slightest bit amusing. I'm sure you two would have found it funny if they filmed him and Witten sipping umbrella drinks in Cabo during the bye week before playing the Giants instead of studying game film. After all, he's just enjoying himself.

It would be nice to actually see a piece on him of perhaps helping Cassel, going over film with the o line...I dunno, some how helping the team, instead of trying to be a comedian. Glad he made you laugh.

News flash, these are real people, not robots.

You must be a blast at parties.

This was taped before his injury - seems pretty obvious.

Sounds like someone might just be a tad bit jealous.
The trip to a Cabo, had nothing to do with the loss to the eventual Super Bowl champion Giants. The so called "flirting" had nothing to do with any losses either.
Just like taking an hour or two out of his week to film a skit will have nothing to do with how the rest of the season or his career turns out. But yeah. How dare he find a way to enjoy himself outside of his everyday job.
How terrible he probably spends time playing with his kid instead of studying game film. How dare he spend time with his wife instead of working with the back up QB. He damn sure better have a playbook with him during his meals. And he better be falling asleep with game film of the next opponent playing on his TV. And he better not be sleeping more than 4 hours a night because that would be time better spent pursuing a Super Bowl. Because by God we as fans are entitled to nothing less from our QB.

News flash! There should be a difference in which celebrities, professional athletes, firefighters, etc conduct themselves in public. You apparently don't get it.

Let me ask you this and please reply honestly. When the Cowboys went 13-3, had a bye for the best record in the NFC and all the pieces to make a legitmate run at the SB did it not bother you at all that TR and Witten were in Cabo during their week off? Did it not bother you to see JS and/or Carrie Underwood talking to TR on the field as he's thrwoing his warm up passes before a big game?

That's ok with you because after all their just real people, right?

I hate to break it to you but in the real world certain people are held to certain standards (based on their occupation, gender, etc) whether you like it or not.

In the real world. Real people hold people to realistic expectations and standards. In the real world. Real people understand that life is very, very short. And while you should always pursue excellence, finding a way to unwind and enjoy yourself can be just as important as the amount of hard work you put in. It's called balance. And if one doesn't have that, their life is going to be very incomplete.

You're joking, right? You don't think studying game film or practicing routes with recievers during the bye week makes a difference? LOL. I guess we should just cut out preparation all together. You know what, you're right. As was mentioned earlier, according to "insiders" TR puts in more work and effort than anyone on the team. That's what being a team leader and setting the example is all about right?

Not according to you. Thinking about women during pre game is fine, having a few drinks and flirting in Mexico during the by week when your competition is fighting their brains out to play you is fine. He gets paid MILLIONS of dollars to perform and be prepared for 5-6 months out of the year for 10-15 years max, you're dang right he better be falling asleep to game film.

I bust my butt at my job to be the best I can be while I'm there and I may make in my career what he makes in one or two games. Sorry I set my standards so high. It amazes me how many people accept mediocrity yet don't complain when the results aren't anything but the best.

Whatever. I'm done. This is pointless. Continue to wear the blinders and support a team and players who don't do everything in their power to be the best they can be. Maybe that's why we haven't won a SB in 20 years.

He has 6 months of the year to do that. How many do you have? And some thinge come with a price, like making millions of dollars being a professional athlete.
