Did Anyone See Romo's Slumber Party On TNF?

When you get paid millions of dollars and with his history of minimizing what most fans consider important, I don't find it the slightest bit amusing. I'm sure you two would have found it funny if they filmed him and Witten sipping umbrella drinks in Cabo during the bye week before playing the Giants instead of studying game film. After all, he's just enjoying himself.

It would be nice to actually see a piece on him of perhaps helping Cassel, going over film with the o line...I dunno, some how helping the team, instead of trying to be a comedian. Glad he made you laugh.

Hey...you got a phone call...it's your life...it says there is more to it than what Romo "should" be doing. Seriously, go outside, enjoy the holidays or enjoy your loved ones. Please tell me you have more than the Cowboys...

I am trying to fathom how anyone could possibly think a video where Romo slams both hands on the table following a Jenga loss was filmed in the past week. Kind of scary actually.

Amazing isn't it. The mind is a terrible thing to waste. I feel my brain cells dwindling with every click on most of these threads. Hurry up Monday night.

Here's the deal:
It was taped earlier in the year probably before his injury. A lot has happened since then, so seeing it now it honestly does seem like bad timing.

However Tony doesn't decide when it gets aired and at this point it wouldn't make sense to cancel it.

It's really pretty simple. Either you find it funny which is ok, or you don't find it funny as a cowboys fan because of what's going on, and that's okay as well.

But this has ZERO effect on the actual game, the Cowboys record or Romos performance on the field. Just prerecorded cheesy humor that's all.

Well...Scrooge arrived earlier this year than we all had hoped. Life is way too short to not enjoy every second of it. SMH

lmao!!!!

If football is that important to you that this kind of stuff bothers you then you need to look in the mirror and figure out which priorities in life should actually be important.

Cause football fandom is, or at least should definitely be, pretty low on the priority list.

If players just cared half as much as us die hard fans do, we'd never lose a game

Again, it's his history that contributes to my discontent. Pre first or second injury is a moot point. If I was paid millions of dollars to represent a billion dollar franchise with millions of fans watching me...the last thing I would do if I was supposed to be injured is making comedic skit on tv. I guess that's just me, I must be crazy.

So, do you have a problem with Peyton Manning's commercials? Or Aaron Rodger's commercials? Or Cam Newton's commercials? What about Cole Beasley's Tide commercial?

I'd love to hear what's wrong with all those.

I hate it when players and "leaders" of ANY team are doing some extra curricular "activities", sketch, promotion, talk show, whatever you want to call it when they're supposed to be injured. I understand it has nothing to do with their injury but, to me, it just doesn't look good.

Glad to see TR is enjoying himself making funny jokes while the rest of the team and fans are miserable. I guess since he's injured he has to find another way to stay relevant? This reminds of the time he said "there's more important things in life" after losing a critical game. Again, it doesn't change anything but perception is big in this league.

I'm sure I'll get flamed but the only time I want to see or hear TR's name until next season is if it has something to do with his recovery. Until then, shut up and stay out of the lime light.

.....I just relived Cabo (with J Witten). You make a great point about perception....close your eyes, imagine that was Dez.....all kinds of negative posts would overrun the site.

All one can do is bury your faces in your hands and shake your head at the people who think Tony doing this is a problem. *facepalm* smh....
