I hate it when players and "leaders" of ANY team are doing some extra curricular "activities", sketch, promotion, talk show, whatever you want to call it when they're supposed to be injured. I understand it has nothing to do with their injury but, to me, it just doesn't look good.

Glad to see TR is enjoying himself making funny jokes while the rest of the team and fans are miserable. I guess since he's injured he has to find another way to stay relevant? This reminds of the time he said "there's more important things in life" after losing a critical game. Again, it doesn't change anything but perception is big in this league.

I'm sure I'll get flamed but the only time I want to see or hear TR's name until next season is if it has something to do with his recovery. Until then, shut up and stay out of the lime light.

hey - thanks to cool forum features i can do the same to unnecessary noise.

there. gone. and yea, much better!!!

News flash! There should be a difference in which celebrities, professional athletes, firefighters, etc conduct themselves in public. You apparently don't get it.

Let me ask you this and please reply honestly. When the Cowboys went 13-3, had a bye for the best record in the NFC and all the pieces to make a legitmate run at the SB did it not bother you at all that TR and Witten were in Cabo during their week off? Did it not bother you to see JS and/or Carrie Underwood talking to TR on the field as he's thrwoing his warm up passes before a big game?

That's ok with you because after all their just real people, right?

I hate to break it to you but in the real world certain people are held to certain standards (based on their occupation, gender, etc) whether you like it or not.

Gender? Hmmmmm.

This was taped before his injury - seems pretty obvious.

Thats worse. If he was chubby because he couldnt run and lift because of injury then i could kind of understand. But being outta shape and healthy. Shame shame shame.

According to inside knowledge, huh? According to outside knowledge aka reality we know this. He publicly undermined a playoff loss, true or not, it's not sometig you say publicly as a leader when millions of fans are po'd. We know he decided to hang out in Cabo during a bye week before playing a divisonal rival in the playoffs. We know he's doing skits whether before or after his recent injury is irrelvant. We know and saw him flirting with Jessica Simpson and other women on the field during warm ups before big divsional games.

Sorry, I call it how I see it, not on what "insiders" say.

"Publicly undermined a playoff loss?" what does that even mean?

Personally, I'm glad he likes hot woman. I don't want the Captain of America's team to be some puss, ya know what I mean? :)

IMOF, I have an important test coming up for my job and I specifically took time off to prepare for it because I know being at work woulld make it harder to prepare. So no, I don't always take time off work to enjoy myself. If you don't think Romo going to Cabo had an outcome on the game I disagree. We'll never know, maybe it wouldn't have, but I want to know the leader of a team I support did everything in his power to prepare for each and every game, especially a 2nd round playoff game. Going to Cabo isn't doing that.

Maybe its just me but I hold myself to the same standards. If I ever had a big test in college, football game in high school, tests for work, etc. I would do everything I could to prepare so even if I failed I would know I tried my hardest and did my best. If I were Romo I wouldn't be able to say that after going to Cabo.

If that test at work is so important, then what the hell are you doing wasting time on this board?! Shouldn't you be studying?

You seem to be wasting a lot of time here on this post when you should be studying for your important test. Didn't Romo teach you anything?

What are you doing wasting time on this message board? I bet there is something you could be doing right now to improve yourself at your job. Doesn't appear that you are giving your employer 100% to me!

This * a million

Life is full of dissapointment and let downs, even despite our best efforts at times. I think its great if Tony can manage a life outside football and not allow losses to effect his personality in a negative way.

I think Romo would even now admit Cabo was a mistake but he was a 27 y/o then and has matured a bunch. Getting your feathers ruffled over something like this is unreasonable

I found it pretty funny. Really enjoyed it.

I'm pretty sure Romo is one of those work hard, play hard kind of guys.

When you're working, you are making sure you get every detail correct and you do everything you can to put yourself in a position where you can be successful.

But when its relaxation time, its ALL about relaxing and enjoying yourself.

He's been a very successful quarterback who has unfortunately fallen under the curse that is Jerry Jones. He has made plenty of mistakes but his good outweighs the bad by a large margin. He has definitely covered up many faults of this team for many years now and we all know it.

We've seen him play with broken bones, bad back so his determination and love for the game is quite obvious. And as others have stated, his preparation for a game is at a high level. So any perception of him taking the game of football lightly because of what he does during his time off, or because he liked to wear his baseball cap backwards is shortsighted IMO.

But everyone is entitled to their opinion so whatever.

He's allowed to have his own life as well as being our QB. Seems like a decent guy for sure. Shame he won't be able to run or swing a golf club after playing. Hopefully he won't be in the corner and broken down with drool coming out of his mouth in 30 years.

They should do a slumber party with Johnny Manziel. Him and Corden are slumped together on Manziel's living room floor drunk as skunks with empty beers bottles all over the place singing 99 bottles of beer on the wall. That would be funny to everyone but Cleveland fans and the Browns front office.

When you get paid millions of dollars and with his history of minimizing what most fans consider important, I don't find it the slightest bit amusing. I'm sure you two would have found it funny if they filmed him and Witten sipping umbrella drinks in Cabo during the bye week before playing the Giants instead of studying game film. After all, he's just enjoying himself.

It would be nice to actually see a piece on him of perhaps helping Cassel, going over film with the o line...I dunno, some how helping the team, instead of trying to be a comedian. Glad he made you laugh.

So Tony doesn't do that, i.e., helping Cassel or going over film? You mean he has to spend every waking hour involved in football?
