Did Gregory submit his papers?

LOL, it doesn’t appear to be something good. Is needing rehab typically an indication great things are going on?

I took you for a smart dude. Annoying, but smart. I seem to be mistaken on that.

Again, this just tells me you have no idea how rehab works. You must think that you go once and then you're 'cured' and would never need to return.

You can call me dumb if it makes you feel better but your take here is decidedly ignorant.

Anywho, i was referring to the paperwork. Try again, arbiter of intellect.

Any way of looking at this subject and you turn around and spin it in negative assumptions and innuendo.

He could have filed months ago? He screwed us.
He is filing now? Surely he is rushing this.
He has an extensive amount of paperwork to support his application? of course it must be something bad.
He went to rehab? Means he must have done something wrong.

It is what it is. I just think it's funny that you think that giving facile support is convincing. Ever heard the one about pissing on someone's leg and saying it's raining?
Well read into what you want. I find it interesting you can’t discuss your opinions on Gregory’s situation, but rather discuss your issues with me having my opinions on the situation. If you don’t like them then put me on ignore or offer different opinions.

Throughout these entire discussions over the past few months I have been claiming that something hasn’t been adding up and now we find out Gregory has been back through rehab. So while my opinions have bothered so many who have chosen to take issue with me for offering my opinions, seems like I was pretty accurate.

Must be a hard pill to swallow

Nope. Wrong again. Hell, in this thread I already discussed the needing rehab again and acknowledge people may need several rounds of it. Go back and read.

You just jump to a ton of conclusions. Does this strategy of taking partial information and thinking you know everything to start an argument typically work for you?

I don’t mind you disagreeing with my opinions, but can you at least read a little before arguing for the sake of arguing and sticking your foot in your mouth?

RGregory should have applied in November.......get the first denial out of the way

Applying and continuing your rehab doesn't have to be mutually exclusive.... there is no date the proves you are 'cured'......most 12 steppers believe they are addicts for life

So what good does another 6 weeks of rehab do for his case......very little

Now he will not be back for TC and that points this season in the garbage..... that is a valid complaint

Refreshing to see some logic instead of trying to convince others he has been clean for 22 months, everything has been just fine, he’s just waiting for the new league year to start, or he is just being thorough on paperwork not rushing things.

I was wondering who you were responding to. Then realized it is someone I have on ignore. So checked the show ignored contents. And sure enough I have them on ignore. He and a few others harassed me over and over even though I showed them proof why Gregory waited until now, and what they said back in December. they still would not believe it and continually insulted me. So I put him, and a fe others on ignore.
And after reading his same garbage as he did a few months or so ago. He will still stay on ignore.
I thought about it too. Sometimes it seems like they don't use reasoning or have a personal vendetta against a player or coach. I have some on ignore too haha much more relaxing when debating against someone that is using some type of facts to back up what they're saying. Me and you haven't agreed on everything but I respect how you debate.

It's funny because I have seen comments before and I'm like who are they talking about so I got the show ignore messages and sure enough it's someone that's ignored haha

Can’t see 2,000 pages showing treatment info, passed drug tests, and statements that he hasn’t used drugs since 2016 or hasn’t been arrested/convicted in the past year.

Most medical records have ten pages of background information to communicate one key point. I get a liver MRI every 18 months to check the size of a benign growth. The report is ten pages long and I flip through it to find one sentence that says "the growth is still 4 cm by 2 cm".

I think being reinstated is going to be the easy part. The hard part is going to be remaining clean without the need to leave the team for another stint of rehab.
You nailed it! This could very well be a lifelong battle for Gregory! I’m sure this will be the last chance to play for Dallas. The trouble isn’t worth the potential in my opinion. Right now him staying clean is going to be a full time job!

Well Taco started healthy while Gregory has dealt with some injuries. You expect too much from rookies, just let it play out and see how it goes. He could be terrible, he could be solid or he could be a superstar. His last 2 games he had 9 tackles and a sack, stop getting caught up with what he did or didn't do his rookie season

I don't expect much from Rookies, I do expect will be active and able to play. To be dependable and be accountable to their teams. My expectation of Gregory as of now is low and for Charlton I do have higher expectation as he enters his 2nd season. As for Gregory last 2 games they were over a year ago, so any learning or development he may have been gaining has been lost due to his own actions.

They are turned in. Get ready to see if goodell denies him. He shouldn’t because he has let a few other players back in.

Tell that to Josh Gordon

Tell that to Josh Gordon

Why Gordon has not missed more time than Gregory has and while Gordon returned to action in 2017 his numbers were no where close to 2013 season. Hell he had 18 catches for 335 and 1 TD? and??

Gregory really has not done anything since he came into the NFL, he has a nice 2 game run? So what. I hope he can return but expect little from him, I think Cowboys will use him in spot duty as a 3rd down pass rusher but playing along the Line of scrimmage takes a lot more stamina than playing outside at WR and Gregory has not done it in a while.

Maybe because Gordon did not return until late 2017, and look who was throwing the ball.

And Cowboys basically use all they players as spot players. Which is part of their problem, the rotate too much.

I disagree. Eagles rotate quite a bit on their DL difference is they don't have a big drop off as they rotate. I know Gordon returned late and know who throws the ball, in Dallas that is called an excuse every where’s else we are expected to make exceptions? Josh Gordon at least proved himself as a pro bowl WR Gregory has not. I like Gregory but the hard core fact is he has not done jack in the NFL he was a young player trying to develop and continued to miss valuable time in the development. Now after more than a year people think he is going to come in and produce? Hopefully he does but excuse me if I have slight expectation on him

Maybe some do expect that. But there are somewhat just will not give him the chance that he could. It goes both ways.
I don't expect great things in year one being back. But I do think he is one of the top 53 players, and will contribute in the role he is given.

I think the league will allow him to return this season. I hope he does well but regardless of what any of us thinks it comes down to Gregory proving himself. In his 2 seasons with the Cowboys he has started 0 games and has more failed drug test than sacks. When Josh Gordon name is thrown out as an example come on Gordon at least proved how effective he could be, Gregory has not.

Well that is all I ask for. Once reinstated, let him earn his roster spot in TC. Compete and show he belongs.
I just want this team being the one that gives him that opportunity.

There will be some good competition for a DL spot. Gregory, Ealy, Tapper, Armstrong. One or 2 of these will not make it.

Cowboys will let him compete. As a fan I want him to have success then again I want every player to come into camp and have success.

Being back for training camp is the key to him being functional on the field if reinstated.

I saw one report that said the NFL is supposed to rule on reinstatement within 60 days.

If true, 60 days from now would be just before training camp starts.
