Being back for training camp is the key to him being functional on the field if reinstated.

I saw one report that said the NFL is supposed to rule on reinstatement within 60 days.

If true, 60 days from now would be just before training camp starts.

Right, he can be back by mid July. TC will start late July.
I hope he rules soon, but doubt in time for OTA's, but by mini camp sure would be nice.
It would be some good news from the NFL FO for once, instead of dragging it out for the 60 days.

If they really have a 60 day limit, I expect the ruling at 59 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.

Goodell is under no deadline to act ..... with JGordon he denied it the first time and JGordon had to reapply months later and then was only allowed to return with 5 games left

MBryant applied Jan 28th....late April he was allowed back around the team but no practice...... he was allowed to practice in August and was fully cleared on Sept 10th

Why Gordon has not missed more time than Gregory has and while Gordon returned to action in 2017 his numbers were no where close to 2013 season. Hell he had 18 catches for 335 and 1 TD? and??


Gregory really has not done anything since he came into the NFL, he has a nice 2 game run? So what. I hope he can return but expect little from him, I think Cowboys will use him in spot duty as a 3rd down pass rusher but playing along the Line of scrimmage takes a lot more stamina than playing outside at WR and Gregory has not done it in a while.

Gordon missed all of the 15, 16 and most of 17 season. I'm not great in math but how do you figure Gregory has missed more time. Not only that Gordon got almost 3 seasons before he got the long suspension.

While all that is true, there are some details that are important to take into consideration. Josh Gordon failed a test after applying and that's why he was denied the first time, but was reinstated a few months later. Instead of coming back right away he went into rehab and then had to apply yet again.

Bryant was reinstated with conditions, but the conditions allowed him to participate in everything provided he did what he was supposed to. For example, he wasn't granted permission to participate in training camp and preseason games until he confirmed his clinical resources had been established in Pittsburgh. Then as long as he remained in compliance with his program he would be permitted to be be eligible for week 1.

What is concerning in the Bryant case is that Goodell did take over 60 days to make the decision, so you're right, he hasn't been making these decisions in 60 days.

I think Jerry took the bullet and paid the NFL over the Zeke case and drop all actions against Goodell to get Gregory reinstated granting he finished all treatment and files proper paperwork. A under the table deal if you will to make everything go away and stop with the fighting between the two.

I'm guessing that Goodell actually rules in time for mini camp and we will see Gregory practicing. This also allows him to get the upgraded playbook before training camp

Gordon missed all of the 15, 16 and most of 17 season. I'm not great in math but how do you figure Gregory has missed more time. Not only that Gordon got almost 3 seasons before he got the long suspension.

Sorry I meant that Gordon has played more games he also put up Pro Bowl numbers in 2013 so he was a player who had established himself. What has Gregory done? he has 1 sack and has done little not even close to pro bowl status.

Cause Gordon has played more games. Gregory played 12 games as a rookie. The only other games he played in was the end of the 16 season he played in 2 games which he had 9 tackles and a sack. Besides we aren't comparing what Gordon did before the suspension we are talking about after 2 plus years suspended he came back and produced.

yes but he showed he could produce at a high level in the NFL. Gregory has not, hell he could not even win the starting job. I'm not disagreeing that he has missed important development time. What I'm saying is his last 2 games...... He missed the first 14.... He had 9 tackles and a sack, as a backup, situational, rotation guy. Average that over 16 games and that's better numbers then some of our starters.

Yea Gregory has tremendous pass rush ability but was also decent in the run game. It boggles my mind that some don't even want him on the team much less give him a chance to show what he can do in camp. I think folks will be surprised

Sorry not impressed so far Gregory has been a failure, he gets a chance that is all. He has not done anything. His last 2 games were over a year ago it means nothing. I'm glad he will get another chance I just hope he is smart enough not to blow it. Right now I am high skeptical of him and in my eyes has a lot to prove before I am willing to act as if he is some savior.
