Yea, but it's not like they didn't have nothing to play for. There was a chance we get the one or two seed
Wel I mean sometimes they clown teams and win by 50. Yesterday Washington he nothing to play for either and looked levels better than Dallas

I'm not sure what that has to do with my response, but alright. You're dismissed, playboi

I would say we didn’t care. The playcalling was terrible.. Was the same plays over and over.. And if we didn’t care why play the starters. But we sit the starters and we would come out flat. I was hoping we would have went after the rookie qb.

The lack of pressure attempts against the rookie QB was another indication of putting much into the game. They should have made his life miserable with exotic looks and blitzes from all over the place. Instead we pretty much rushed four and played pretty soft zone the whole game except for a few plays. There times when both corners were giving at least a 10 yard cushion. TEN FREAKIN YARDS! Who the hell do they have that demands a 10 yard cushion? Did they sign the ghost of Bob Hayes last week?

As I watched (disgusted) yesterday's game and saw just how pervasive the lethargy and half-assed efforts were across the board on this team I found myself wondering? Was this done on purpose? Could Mike McCarthy be like me in that he doesn't trust this team when it's riding high and the media is all caressing their ..er.. private parts. Could he had instructed both coordinators to present a preseason level game plan and really never put much into the game? If it had been one side of the ball I might feel differently.. but the defensive effort was sporadic, the special teams were horrible.. the receivers dropped balls, the QB was off, the backs looked like they were running in quicksand and my lord, the offensive line looked like they would struggle to block Baylor.

Everybody stunk.. If it wasn't an outright tank then they need to get the name of whoever catered the pregame meal and never use them again and never stay at whatever hotel they stayed at again either. If it wasn't taking, food poisoning or somebody pulling the fire alarm at 3 am, then this team will have a short visit to the playoffs if it can't play about 20,000 miles above what they showed us yesterday.
Where do you folks come up with this garbage, sure play your starters to tank, this post is just priceless and the best laugh I have had in weeks. Thought I heard them all.

Our offense looked very vanilla yesterday
The offense looks vanilla, especially in the first halves, most weeks. So, nothing new. Moore's first-half play sheet is often pathetic. Stretch run, play action flat to the TE for 5 yards, and then run again on 3rd down to get the 1st (if the TE didn't break the tackle to get the 1st down).

If they get the first down, then they likely move to the Shotgun formation, only to run on 1st down again. And then Shotgun again, with maybe some quick slant routes with a TE hook. And then run again on 3rd down if they're close enough.

1st quarter, it's all the same looks, schemes, and plays...which often don't lead to them doing anything different off of these schemes later in the game. We rarely run screens, or jet sweeps, or anything that you COULD run off of these schemes, it's the same 3 or 4 plays, which make DCs salivate when they watch Cowboys' films. They all figure that they can shut down Dallas's first-half plays with simple execution and discipline. And many DCs are right. Todd Bowles can't wait to play the Boys next week if Dak and Moore are going to roll out those same plays from the 1st half in Week 1. And all things point to the fact that the Cowboys will do just that.

I only hope MM decided awhile back to chose Tampa. Choose your own destiny so to speak. I hope last week was spent preparing for Tampa and not Pork Skins. 5th Seed seems to be the path that provide the Cowboys.the best chance at playing the most playoff games given the match ups.

Maybe Jerry wanted more wins in the playoffs so the Team let this one go to improve odds in Playoffs?

Jerry wanted HOME playoff games.. Now as it turns out nothing they did yesterday would have changed that.. but there might be something to the notion that "choosing" to spend two weeks preparing for Tampa vs "wasting" a week preparing for Washington was the more attractive option.

If they tank yesterday they did also the last 4 weeks.

Whether they tanked or not, maybe some good will come of it when the draft takes place.

It wasn't a game that saw this team playing with their hearts in it; that's for doggone sure.

Hopefully, they'll have their hearts in it next time, when they meet the Bucs at their place.

You kids crack me up with this "hero" stuff. Why would anyone have some dude half their age whose claim to fame is they play a professional sport as their "hero." Yall seriously need to find some new material.

He’s your hero, your homie, the light

You wanted him to be paid 42 million a year

Well 42 million tanked yesterday so here you are trying to spread the blame

Hopefully he will have at least 1 great game in the playoffs next week after 7 years starting

Hopefully he won’t ‘tank’ at least next week

I got a distinct impression that our players just showed up and went through the motions of playing. They weren't motivated in the least.

Millions of dollars, getting to play a game you love as a living, and being famous is not enough for these guys to take their job seriously?

If so, these players will never win anything of note. Not with that kind of mentality.
