We can land equipment, including reflectors, on the moon without landing people on the moon. The presence of a reflector does not prove Apollo 11 landed there.

There was just some video a while ago that showed the vehicle still there and the tracks still visible on the moon.

Oh, yeah, they got there. And what did they do while they were there? Collected a few rocks, hit a golfball, and put a flag there. That's it.

Although, what else are you going to do on the moon? Pretty boring place, if you ask me. So, what would you do on the moon, given the chance?

In our day and age we should know better about silly conspiracy theories but we don't so I will simply say put a Tom Selleck mustache on it and call it good.

I feel exactly the opposite. I'm OK with that. But I wasn't sheltered. So I already knew there were plenty of you guys, especially on this board. But I think someone posted a political discussion/form link...maybe we should visit it so we can actually talk about it rather than take snide, pot shots...

Wows, aws, and stuff like that is the easy way out. There's no discussion, so no thinking involved. Sadly, I think that's 99% of the problem. But hey, chalk it up to human nature, I guess.

Rest his soul my friend. But you gotta admit, Orson Welles had great style and he was before his time and whether you believe certain things nowadays because of how things happened or not, he still put some things in perspective especially if you really analyze his literature. I read 1984 in a class, but it was the only one by him on the reading list. I love that book even though the fictional aspect is a bit charged, so to speak.

One thing in philosophy, and the most important thing in philosophy, is that we know every generation proves the last wrong in many ways because of our innate desire to push the limits of what we know about the world.

The hoax made sense, but we have evidence to prove otherwise.
