Did yesterday change any of your minds on Romo?

No.....until he wins a SB, the Rat's can live outside of their sewer, and roam the earth. They only return to their filth and pathetic life, for a day or 2 when he wins.

When he has a 2 Int game, a bad game, or a loss. They will come out full force.

That was his 2nd INT all season long. Career year being wasted by the worse defense in franchise history. You guys want him to limit turnovers and be the gunslinger. I'm sorry, it wont happen. Come and argue about how good Romo is when we have Joe Schmo manning the position.

Too bad about how the game ended.

But this just re-enforces what I have thought for years. Without Romo this is a 4 win team. At best. He was the only reason the game was even close.

He wasn't the reason the Broncos scored 51 points.

Didn't change my opinion at all. I was very impressed with how he played even though Denver's defense was as horrendous as ours was and they were missing several key starters. I think Romo played out of his mind and it was a big time anomaly. Then when all the marbles are on the table and he has a chance to win the game, he does what he has done his whole career, and that is to make a horrible decision and choke.

Of course you admitted, and then quickly deleted it so nobody could quote you later, that you can't stand Romo so it really does not matter much what you think of him because you already had your mind made up.

Yes...I saw your post before you deleted it. HAHA

Yeah, now expect big time games from him. He is finally healthy and is going to play better than he ever has in recent years.

Hey may or may not have a bunch of big time games ahead of him. But I think we'll see this offense run better too. I didn't get to watch the game, but it sounds like the offense was performing at a level not seen all year. So, instead of putting it all on Romo, let's just hope we see more of yesterday's offense than the prior week's offense.

It didn't change my mind, as I have always been a Romo supporter. That does not mean that I don't get frustrated on occasion when he makes a bonehead mistake. But all of the haters need to realize that the pick yesterday was not one of those mistakes. After taking a sack on first down, it was 2nd and 16 from the 14 yard line. All he was trying to do on 2nd down was make a play. Some say, oh he should have taken a sack instead. Really? If he doesn't try to somehow pick up that 1st down, we are most likely punting from our endzone and Peyton gets the ball beyond the 50 with 2 minutes. Game over anyway. I am not blaming my quarterback for trying to win the game and the defensive player making on hell of a play. It's not like he threw the ball right into the defenders hands. Choke...give me a break. He left everything out on the field yesterday and came up short, mostly because the defense let him down. Maybe they should try playing for 60 minutes.

Nope, doesn't change anything. Romo is still a good QB but just has the worst luck and I don't expect it to ever get better here. I still think he should have declined Jerry's contract and gone elsewhere, for HIS own good. Arizona would have been the perfect destination for him, they're 3-2 with Carson Palmer right now!

My past has been to criticize Tony.

Sunday made me respect him more as a brilliant passer. 2 INTS this year by him and we go nuts on him. And as my brilliant post said, he should not half been in a situation where he has to put up more than 48 points. Even 30 points.

I can get on board with that...would love to see more of yesterdays style offense and less of the offense we saw the previous 4 weeks. I loved that he was throwing a lot more to Beasley and Williams. Really spreading the ball around instead of focusing on just 2 receivers who happen to always be double covered. Beasley is so under rated it is not even funny. The guy is always getting open and is a pain to stop in the open field. Romo should go to him a lot more often.

I'd like this post to serve as a place for the Romo haters to say that Romo changed their mind on him. The guy played an absolutely unreal game.

All over the media and talk shows, message board, forums, etc I'm seeing fans and media personalities come to the realization that Romo truly IS a generational talent at QB.

Have any of you changed your minds on him?

25-of-36 for 506 yards (14.1 ypa, 20.2ypc) 5td 1int. 92.1 QBR.

Only 15 QBs in the entire history of the NFL have thrown for 500 yards. That is an elite group. If not for the INT, Romo probably breaks Norm Van Brocklin's record for most passing yards in a game.

Lol no it didn't. He has put up big numbers before. He still can't finish though.

The guy is a glorified stat padded and I'm amazed the loyalty some of yall show when he hasn't done anything but that.

Again... still.... The defense let us down. In what universe do you score 48 points and it's not enough.

Romo is in the unlucky position of being one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but still not good enough to overcome our ineptitude in coaching and talent around him. He will forever be knows as a "choker", even though the reality is that without Romo in the first place, this team wins 4 games a year.

While I agree that without Romo we maybe win 4 games a year but hey who knows maybe we would have only won 2 games the year Andrew Luck came out and we would have had the #1 pick and drafted Luck ;)

You show me his stat line and 48points score and I would imagine we win that game 100/100 times.

Sure it was an untimely pick, but if we have anyone else playing QB for us, the game is 42-10 by the 3rd quarter.

Is anyone talking about the fact that our defense gave up 51????

Nope, he is what he is, bad luck seems to follow the guy. He played out of his mind yesterday and I laud him for that and Im glad he is not being called out by the national media....but he needs to get to and win a SB to validate his greatness and I really dont believe he will get that chance with this dysfunctional organization.

nope, i have looked on romo as a very good QB who has to prove that he is a great QB
that can only happen if he takes the cowboys deep into the playoffs on at least a couple of occasions

yesterday's game was lost by the defense but the pick at the end was on romo

he did the same thing against washington last year

ball in his hands, game on the line, enough time and time outs, and he throws a pick

Nope, not me. I like Romo and still have confidence that he can lead a team to SB, whether he does it or not, I don't know but I believe he has the ability to do so.

My mind has been made up for a long time now about Romo. Did you miss the Washington game last year? I have already given up on him. Just because he has an anomaly game here and there where he shows flashes of brilliance doesn't mean he isn't a known choker and doesn't mean we can count on him in do or die situations. I still root for him considering he is the QB of my team but I ALWAYS expect the choke job from him when all the marbles are on the table.
