Did you guys notice Roy Williams on nickle packages?

Damn OGT....i never seen you fall like this, usually you come with great facts, and never just let someone talk to you like this, i was waiting to see you come back at this guy hard, errr come on OGT i know you are better than this:mad:
Fall? All I said was that Roy played deep most of the game (other than the dime package). This guy said he disagrees. He didn't offer anything to show the contrary. Is there some sort of stat that I can pull up that says Roy played deep?

Either you believe me or you believe the other guy. I watched Roy just about every play and noted while watching the game that he played deep a considerable amount. It doesn't bother me if you don't believe me, but I'm telling you what I saw.

You obviously don't.

Roy has covered WRs out wide 1-on-1 this season.

I believe he was covering a WR wide when Chicago's tight end blew right by Ayodele.. that is where Roy didn't wrap up the TE, after he caught the ball...

Hit the buzzer... EEHHHHH! Wrong again.
Here's what you said:

You probably couldn't tell from the camera angle, but other than the dime packages, we played two deep safeties all game long.

That was an inaccurate statement.

I understood "we played two deep safeties all game long" as a general rule, not all the time... I think that is easily understood when it is preceded by a statement such as:

but other than the dime packages, we played two deep safeties all game long...

Heck, I was even wrong about that. Even in the dime packages we played two deep safeties. It's just that Roy wasn't one of them then. :)

Lol na it wasn't about who i believe because i watched the game also, but if you believe in what you saw, usually you put up a stronger argument which was the case in the past when i watched you argue

Which is also untrue. We did not always play 2 deep looks when we had base personnel.

The guy jumped to generic fan football know-nothing that I pounced on because it was intrue even without our "dime package."

"A" for Effort on the OGT defense though, Dude.

You're hopeless.

Can you prove that we didn't play 2 deep safeties at the snap?

I just see it as a way to get better production on nickle so that we have fewer mis-matches. As for James I think he is doing a good job thus far

James is doing a good job -- very similar to the job he did last year when he played in the base.

James' problems last year came in primarily in coverage. He is presently and has been over the past few years a very good run defender.

That's simply not possible. She makes arguing fun because she's articulate and thinks out her arguments well. As Wade has said, "There's no crying in football." And frankly, football is a talking sport.

Just don't speak inaccurately, that's all.
Cheers!

Just to be precise -- even if my statements of fact were simply not true, it is incorrect to say that I spoke "inaccurately." Used in this way the term "inaccurately" is an adverb describing the word "speak," not the underlying facts.

Carry on. I just wanted to help you be a little more "articulate."

Only Roy could play a completely innocuous game and still be the subject of a heated thread.

Well somebody has to be the scapegoat.

You said, wrote, posted, blogged, typed in Morse Code something inaccuarately. I was right. Nice try on the grammar lesson. The way I used "innacurately" modifies the verb "spoke" correctly not "describes." Cheers, Professor!

Lame post, Dude.

I agree but even in 1st down situation where teams will throw James has done a good job. I think it nickel situation it is better to take him out which Dallas has.
