In order to win a SB that is what it will take.
Dak Prescott to beat 4 consecutive playoff coaching staffs, playoff QBs and playoff defenses.

IF you are confident in the past 7 years of this guy's inconsistent play in order to achieve that, more power to you.

Shaking MY head is right.

No coaching change,playcalling/scheme or personnel support can overcome the inability to make the right decisions with the ball in his hand.

Adjust your Dak watching lenses, they need a new prescription if you believe otherwise.
You're foolish if you truly believe a QB can not improve his performance with better coaching and training.

By game 5 Quinn will be run ing the show.
Hopefully we'll draft a QB in the first 3
Cut Zeke ,tag Pollard
Create enough space to not extend Dak.
Then I woke up, I'll finish this dream tomorrow night.
Tag Pollard after major leg injury? No thanks.

Broken fibula isn't that bad. I broke mine my senior year. Was walking on it within a week and even came back to finish the season after missing 4 games.

He is what he is.
A poor decision maker.
The bigger the game/pressure, the worse decisions are made in real time by him with the ball in his hand.

Whether ignoring open field of running room or not seeing the whole field and making errant throwing decisions.

THAT is who Prescott is.
Not foolish whatsoever.
Just reality.
Coaching, playcalling or personnel support can't overcome it.

I don't need any more replay, All-22 or Warner breakdowns to convince me.
Quarterback purgatory is real

So you let him walk?
He's 25 and a super talent runs,catches,blocks.
Can take it to the house anytime
He's worth a year to find out.

Two years in a row we end the season in the playoffs with Dak putting up a 60something QB rating against SF.

That's more than a fluke. That's a serious signal. To extend Dak now is to accept that it's totally acceptable to lock for the next 5 years a significant risk of mediocrity, at the end of which we'd be looking at *more* years of mediocrity to rebuild.

I'm not saying mediocrity is certain. But two years in a row of worse than mediocrity puts the burden of proof on those who expect anything better.

This should be a prove it year for Dak and McCarthy. If they can't prove it in the playoffs, it's time to move on from both of them.
He had a 148 rating against Tampa Bay in the playoffs. So yes, it’s a fluke.

Ironic since film breakdown by many continues to prove you wrong.

I know this is not gonna be a positive take here but I do believe we take a different approach this year. I would like to see the following happen and I believe I will not be to far off.
We will resign Donovan Wilson, LVE, Fowler, Hankins, TY, Peters and do a new contract with Tyron Smith and Elliot. We are going to sign a 5 year contract with Dak that takes pressure off this year and the Jones boys will not let go of him.
As far as Free Agency goes we will go out and get a very good Vet WR and DT. I feel we roll with Diggs, Bland and Lewis at the CB spots we will be strong at S and LB with Clark and Cox a year away from surgery. When the draft rolls along we can than go WR, OL, or BPA and we should be good heading into next year.
I know this isnt Madden and we have a salary cap but we can kick that can a bit without going all the way in and be screwed for years.
The Vet WR like an OBJ will make a big difference short term and not break the bank. A difference maker at DT will cost us but not to the point we are doomed after this year. If Dak is protected and we have that defense playing like it did in Frisco as long as we stay healthy we will be a tough out.
Until the clown show gets rid of players when they should; stops overpaying players all too often; and aggressively works FA like all the RECENT SB WINNERS HAVE

Then no nothing is different

He is bi-polar, he'll play great 1 game and like dog poop the next. Can't do that in the playoffs where you are one and done.

I guess you see yourself dying on Prescott Hill as a noble gesture. I prefer what's best for the Dak less Cowboys.
Dallas Cowboys that is.
And that is not stuck in a wild card ceiling while married to SleepNumber.
To each his own.

Actually in the last 2 years Dak's had 2 bad playoff games and 1 great one.

You just picked the wrong fluke.
Well he’s not going anywhere so deal with it. And if you don’t think they can win with him then go away until he’s gone.

How do you know Dak is bi-polar? Do you have his professional medical analysis?
