Most of these outside free agents never perform for their second team the way they did for the first team. Seldom are they worth the money you’re forking over to sign them. Patrick Surtain has been good but he has 9 fewer INTs than Diggs. Right now I prefer Diggs he’s a playmaker. The problem with a lot of fans here is they’re willing to go with a lesser player for lesser money. You’re not going to become a great team doing that. They’re fans on this board that don’t want to pay CeeDee, Diggs or Parsons.
Stephen Jones fans...

The formula some fans have for building a championship team is to move on from a great player that would cost you $20 million plus per year and use that money on two or three mediocre players. Lol

..well, he went from having double digit picks. To almost being non influential.

He's afraid of contact. How it looks anyway.

But..................he's a good CB. That can hold his own.

I wouldnt break any records with new contract.

Baby is scared of George Kittle. Not sure what we do about that.

On his softness, I'm pretty sure I know why. Otherwise you can't sign a CB that avoids tackling.

Doing what you suggest would most likely give Dallas higher cap hits over the next two years, as opposed to giving him an extension. The FT has its place. But it's not a cheaper alternative.
Not worried about his softness, pay the man, back the truck up, Diggs is going to be one of the best in the league, just pay him and watch him play.

Diggs should be an easy one.

4x$85m, $35m guaranteed. Give or take. Makes him the highest paid corner and keeps his cap hit around $10m.

I agree. I just think the playoffs were a bad time to make business decisions.

Outside of Diggs whiffing a tackle against Kittle in the playoffs whats yalls problem with him? and it was a whiff a horrible attempt at a tackle he completely missed him

The Bucs game in which we were up big and he made a couple business decisons on tackles that ended up going for a yard more than they should have? when the game was already decided?

Pay the man....hes a top 5 maybe even top 3 corner in the league
