Difficult to interpret the intention of the post but if OP is trying to say the team should have dinked and dunked instead of taking strike plays all over the field, then I'm not sure what to say. I've never heard that suggested in my life as a fan.

I think what he was really saying is that the plays called needed to be quick strike shorter plays so the ball gets out of Dak's hand quicker thus moving the chains in smaller bits.

I think they're trying to get balance. It's just not working

It seems like they wanted to showcase how much Dak has grown, which he has, but their bread and butter is running. Some may say, we don't have the Oline we once did and that may be true but we have most of the guys. I miss Leary a lot. However, we have two backs who could be a two-headed monster and we are wasting that. Run the freaking ball and open the pass game. We have so many weapons. Yet, we don't take advantage and exploit the opposing D like they exploit ours. So frustrating.

When your Online can not give time to let your plays develop then dink and dunk works. One of the best QB's to ever play the game frustrated me for a decade when Tarkenton was with the Viking. Master of the dink pass.
