I don't buy this at all, I take this more as Dak always taking the easy throw even missing open guys down field. He loves throwing to the flat on third and long to send our punter back out there.
It's not aggressive.

But it's clear he is under instructions to not risk a turnover with high percentage throws.

Our offense is based on running, safe throws and defense to hold the opposition.

It is designed to keep the other QB on the bench and give them less time overall.

We want to be ahead and protecting a lead in the 4thQt and play keep away.

Failing that..

have the offense within reach of a score to win late.

Everybody wants a wide open attack and it maybe entertaining..

but for us it's not in our DNA.

As talented as the OL is when healthy..

pass blocking for 40 plays a game is not its strength.

They are road graters..not nimble Jack Be Quicks.

Moore maybe able to shape something..

let's hope so.

Some of that has to do with the fraud QB though. You'll get a lot of checkdown receptions when your QB can't play.

Im not all in on Dak as the franchise QB, but he can play, and the Cowboys went 13-3 in 2016 with Zeke only having about 40% of the catches he did this season. Accordingly, let’s not act as if throwing check downs to the RB is the only way Dak can complete passes.

Fans complained for 2 years that Zeke should be catching a similar number of passes as guys like Bell and Kamari, and this year he did and fans are unhappy about that? And, they certainly were not overwhelmingly check downs. His targets and receptions didn’t more than double by coincidence. He was intentionally incorporated more into the passing game this past season.

He also ran for 1500 yards and had 15 Tds

Just a question, how was this offense week 17 against the Giants with no Zeke and missing most of the OL.......oh thats right it doesn't fit your agenda so you leave it out

LOL...OMG the Giants what fear they brought to all opposing teams.....:lmao:

Apparently he knows he's accounts for a high percentage of our offense and wants his money (that I think he deserves) early
That’s fact if you were to average his season out. All that with zero time together.

Essentially won it all? No, they failed because of their defense and their offense couldn't put up points in the second half despite having the "amazing" Julio Jones.
No, they failed because of about 3 incredibly lucky fluke plays. Not to mention historically atrocious game management at the worst possible time by Dan Quinn.

Fluky plays? Dude, they were up 28-3. You think "fluky" plays brought them back? LOL

Yes, these checkdowns are designed as part of the gameplan so the OC is accused of having no creativity leading to his firing. I'm sure that's it......

Dak had the same number of rushing TDs as Zeke had this season.........that one hurt i know, take your time with it
If Moore puts in a half back pass option Zeke might have as many TD passes as Dak next season.

I didn't read all five pages, but there's a lot to not be concerned about here.

First off, Cooper's 53 catches came in just nine games, as I'm sure has been discussed already. That's a 94 catch, 1,280 yard, 10 TD season if he was here from week one (give or take a poor game here and there, still pretty good either way).

Secondly, this was in a run-first offense that featured the league's leading rusher.

And finally, Gallup was a rookie and most first year wideouts struggle out of the gate. He'll be much improved next season and his performance in both playoff games support this idea.

Yes.

The sack fumble lost with a commanding 28-12 lead halfway through the 4th quarter.
They're at the Patriots 22 yard line (easy FG range, up 8 points with a little over 3 minutes to play) and they drop back and TAKE A SACK.
Next play, they're still in outer FG range, and they drop back and COMMIT A HOLDING PENALTY.
And on the final regulation drive... an impossibly lucky/unlikely Julian Edelman catch in triple coverage.
Culminate all that with a 50/50 coin toss in OT which likely determined the winner.

ALL of that had to go exactly right for the Patriots to have a chance, and well.... it did. Once in 100,000 probability.

I have to agree. The Falcons "dumbed" themselves out of that Super Bowl. With a 28-3 lead midway through the third quarter there's no way the Patriots should have gotten enough possessions to catch up. Even if Atlanta runs the ball three straight plays and punt every time, they're using up clock and still win a close game if New England scores on all their possessions.

As you said, it was a fluke game.

He's not only the best RB on the team, hes the best WR

How do people think with this WR group we could easily let zeke hold out. We definitely would be losing a huge chunk of our offense.
he's a receiver not a wide receiver, this is really apples to oranges, many teams have their rb lead in total receptions
