I'm in New Zealand right now, so didn't see last game. Understand several people liked this guy coming out of school - but ... body of a DE not a T. And he's a project.
What about the run stopping DT we don't have. ?

You are obviously CZ Board Myth # 59

"The running game has no correlation with winning"

Someone forgot to tell the falcons

since we can't sack the qb he can put his long arms up and tip some balls. Tip balls can create turnovers (hopefully). We seem allergic to creating turnovers. We could of had 2 vs atl. One claiborne had 2 hands on and one wilber tried to catch ugly (on a tip pass).

He said in his Cowboys media interview he would be rotational 3 T and DE.

That's the great thing about Marinelli, no learning curve as far as playing on the line goes just go get the freaking QB!

You spelled CZ Board Math wrong. Those correlations are numbers, they're not imaginary.

And did you see the Falcons passing game on Sunday? Because the argument is always about passing efficiency differential without regard to the effectiveness of the running game, either way. Sunday was an example that proved the rule (again), and not the opposite.

Exactly.

Julio "going off" wasn't the result of the Falcon running game.

If he's so good, why was he on KC's PS? He's just another scrub to add to our 53. Why are we doing these dumb things? I wonder if I just got under anyone's skin? I'm actually just kidding. This is a big boy we can definitely use.

If I were the GM of a team with a bad record, I would raid practice squads in the 2nd half of the season. There are 320 players that almost made an NFL team. There have to be a few gems in there.

A lot of bad teams are bad because of the pro personnel, just as much as the draft, if not moreso because there is NFL tape on these players.

We were horrible at pro personnel, especially when Judd Garrett was around. That is McClay's strength and it means a lot.

It is the hidden side of building a team that does not nearly get the credit it deserves.

Everyone wants to talk about that one shrewd draft pick that might just as well have been a dice roll. But rarely do you hear about that veteran pickup that fit just right with a team that went on to success.

Case in point. The Cowboys raided this guy from KC's practice squad. Earlier this week the Packers raided the Cowboys practice squad for LB Joe Thomas.

Joe Thomas played A LOT in the Packers win last night against KC and collected the Packer's first sack of the evening.

My point here is these kinds of guys, can at least theoretically, come in and contribute right away depending on the circumstance.
