Dez was sleeveless in practice today. I think it was today anyway, with temps in the 20's. He was the only one too..
DLaw put the damn sleeves on. Going out sleeveless is not going to prove anything.
This is the dumbest thing ever! I knew we would act tough and let the weather take away the focus like every time we play in the cold.
I remember Nate Newton saying the same thing during a game, and right after warm ups he missed the anthem, etc. because he was trying to get as many clothes as he could on! He said wear as much as possible to keep you comfortable!

If I'm Jason I call DLaw momma so she can stand on the sideline and yell "Boy you come over here and put your clothes on." lol
I don't care if he wears sleeves or not, I just want to see that QB Hunter we saw on the last drive for the Lions. That sack and strip fumble play showed what he is capable of. And HIS fumble may have unleashed the lion that's been there needing to be woken up.
Thinsulate or something of that sort is your friend. Repeat that three times then click your heels. Heck, put pantyhose on. I don't care; just stay warm and worry about playing football not being warm. Heaters on the sidelines, gloves where possible, headcovers, whatever it takes.
BTW, current forecast is 18-20 and sunny.
Prior to the 67 Ice Bowl the field did have electric heaters beneath the grass field. The field was covered the night before the game but it was so cold than when the cover was removed the top part of the field froze over. Supposedly we never had the shoes for traction that GB had although having looked at the game many times both teams had a lot of trouble.
The field now has a heated solution passed thru plumbing beneath the field which was redone in 2007:
In 2007, the Packers installed an entirely new playing surface, including a completely new drainage and heating system, bringing the latest technology in field management to the famous stadium. Chief to the new system is DD GrassMaster, a natural-grass surface reinforced with man-made fibers. All existing levels of the field were removed and the new system began with a clay sub-grade level, compacted and graded (with a .6 percent slope), including drain tile, irrigation pipe and thermostat wiring for the heating system. The second level consists of 5½ inches of pea gravel. On top of the gravel layer is 30-plus miles of ¾-inch tubing for the heating system, which can maintain a root-zone temperature of 55-plus degrees to keep the ground from freezing during the season’s latter months. Level three consists of 12 inches of root-zone sand and Kentucky bluegrass turf. DD GrassMaster’s synthetic fibers are stitched into the surface, providing strength and stability to the field. Fibers extend approximately seven inches below the surface, are exposed approximately one inch above the surface, and are spaced every three-quarters of an inch. Approximately 20 million individual stitches make up the process. The slope equates to a crown of about 5½ inches on the new surface.
So I'm assuming that at least the field won't be frozen. 20 degrees Fahrenheit isn't too bad if the wind is relatively quiet which it's supposed to be.
Layers, starting with Merino wool to wick away the sweat, and then all the new Tech fabrics........buts get the sweat away from the skin and then layer upon layer.
Well, hopefully COOLER heads will prevail.
