DLAW: Being a rookie is over, got my step back, time to show up - and sleeveless - in GB

Mammals are endotherms meaning they set there internal temperatures at a favorable temperature for physiologic functions. If you don't maintain that temperature then the body will do what it can to do so including shivering which is metabolically expensive.

It would be better for the players to expend their energy playing the game rather than staying warm; all without sweating. Water conducts heat away from the body at a rate 25 times that of air.

Needless bravado. Just wear the sleeves! Being cold is a liability.

I find it mildly humorous that no playoff game at a place like Lambeau, Buffalo, etc can occur without copious amounts of discussions of the ageless "sleeves or no-sleeves" question -- by the media, by the players themselves, the fans, etc.

This. It's beyond stupidity.

honestly though, once you get a few plays in and the blood is really flowing you don't notice the cold

now standing idle or sitting on the bench on the sidelines is a whole other story. But of course that's why they have those fan heaters and those huge trenchcoats

but hey, be macho if you want, but be smart too. if you get out there and feel you need the extra layers, take it with you to the sideline or inform the equipment guy (whatever the standard protocol is)

As a fan, I plan on going sleeveless in the stands.

Of course, I will be sleeveless under layers of polartec, spandex and thermal clothing.

Sleeves or no sleeves, just run the dang ball. Keep our D, and Rodgers, on the sidelines as long as possible. And Dez may not have had sleeves but he was still trying to stay warm with the sleeveless sweatshirt underneath. Lam beau is just not about cold/wind, that fan base is going to be loud. Our silent counts have to be perfect or it will be a long, not just cold, afternoon.

Why d pop they have to be called morons though? Jesus some of you are so annoying

Sleeveless is fine, if they are wearing warm clothing underneath their jerseys.
