His arm was going forward , only there was no ball in it.Was that a legit fumble? It looked like it was to me, his arm didn't seem to be going forward yet

I don't know what you mean when you say it never left his hand...but the arm was coming forward (as you agree) and the ball came out because DLaw hit it, so it was an incomplete pass. Can you expound on what you meant? His arm was coming forward, but the ball never left his hand and it went backwards. I've never seen that before so I'm not sure on the rule. It's treated like a batted pass even though it didn't leave his hand? Because otherwise a backwards pass is a fumble.
Pressures are not as important as sacks despite what some football morons think. Now if you can get about 4 pressures to each sack then maybe but he does not do that.
Fact is between his injuries and lack of sacks he is over paid and that is what most here are mad about.
Now its not his fault that he is overpaid; that was on our moron in charge.
Can't wait until Gregory comes back. The D is carrying this team
It was a blocked pass arm went foreword but the ball was deflected backwardsWas that a legit fumble? It looked like it was to me, his arm didn't seem to be going forward yet
The ball never left Hill's hand in a forward direction. In other words, the ball came out going backwards.I don't know what you mean when you say it never left his hand...but the arm was coming forward (as you agree) and the ball came out because DLaw hit it, so it was an incomplete pass. It is going to happen this seasonLicking my chops thinking about it. Dlaw was amazing tonight. To think about Dlaw, Gregory, and Parsons up the middle on blitzes is a dream.
But it wasn't deflected. It was pushed backwards by DLaw. Ball was never going forward in the airIt was a blocked pass arm went foreword but the ball was deflected backwards
Ball did come out backwards but he had started the throwing motion foreword I wanted it to be a fumble but it was not.The ball never left Hill's hand in a forward direction. In other words, the ball came out going backwards.
Does not matter his arm was moving forwardBut it wasn't deflected. It was pushed backwards by DLaw. Ball was never going forward in the air
Oh, I see. You mean the ball was knocked backward as his hand was going forward. That doesn't matter, it's still an incomplete forward pass, because that's the direction the QB was moving the ball. The ball never left Hill's hand in a forward direction. In other words, the ball came out going backwards.
Yeah, I just have never seen that exact play so I wasn't sure what the rule would be.Ball did come out backwards but he had started the throwing motion foreword I wanted it to be a fumble but it was not.
Yeah, just a unique play. Great play by DlawOh, I see. You mean the ball was knocked backward as his hand was going forward. That doesn't matter, it's still an incomplete forward pass, because that's the direction the QB was moving the ball.
It is going to happen this season
It makes a big difference for Lawrence not requiring him to be the best defender on the field.
Blocking sucked tonight big time but was ok at times more suck than goodIm not sure what all these cry baby losers are worried about. This defense has played much better then we could have hoped. Watching Dlaw tonight, his presence is unmistakable. Gregory, Parsons, Dlaw...............Now we are talking about some REAL hot boyz!!!!
This defense can be top 3 with a healthy group.
Offense I am concerned about. But its mainly the Oline. 2 things:
-Oline needs to get their act together. Sadly, give me Williams back over McGovern. And let Steele play over Collins
-Moore needs to start Pollard and let Zeke rest or take a back seat
Blocking sucked tonight big time but was ok at times more suck than good
Yep he was better than Zeke for 1 play tonightBlocking completely sucked. Like it has the last 5 weeks. But with Pollard, we have a guy that can still break a long run and make a difference.
Yep he was better than Zeke for 1 play tonight
