Stop the false narrative as he had Quinn across from him in 2019 and still couldn't produce (DLaw 5 sacks Quinn 11.5 sacks). As for pressures, his QB pressures have dropped every season since getting his deal and was paid to be a pass rusher, not a run defender.

DLaw QB pressures rank by year:

2021: N/A due to limited playing time
2020: 40th
2019: 30th (Quinn was 19th)
2018: 13th


So as stated, stats show his pass rushing decline every season since signing his deal.

Bottom line: he is an overpaid DE not producing that which he was paid to do.



Oh, and who does Parsons have opposite him yet he just registered his 10th sack this season in his 12th career game.....just 1.5 sacks LESS than DLaw has had in his last 32 games!!!!!!!

Quinn is strictly pin the ears back and rush. DLaw has much more responsibility.

everytime he was playing end our rush was non existent. manhandled by the ot. even by guards on stunts.

cant understand why parsons didnt play de full time. but hey dflaw has the higher contract so he needs to play (thanks again jj and son).

His arm was coming forward, but the ball never left his hand and it went backwards. I've never seen that before so I'm not sure on the rule. It's treated like a batted pass even though it didn't leave his hand? Because otherwise a backwards pass is a fumble.

its not about the ball.
its in which direction the hand is moving when it got hit. if the hand moves forward its an forward pass.

and it clearly did.

5 things prohibited at CZ: religion, race, politics, pornography, and the Wuhan thingy. A sixth thing would be complaining too hard about the rules, which I've gotten about 2-3 bans for this season alone, each for a week.

I am of the opinion that the Wuhan-thingy forum/"zone" should be made into a greater "news/politics" zone that is much more lightly moderated than the rest of the site, to an extent. Gives users a chance to socratically debate and blow off some steam, not outright flame and troll and curse out each other but at least express their opinion, discuss religion and politics and greater news at a civil level without having that steam leak into the rest of the message forums. It's my idea to @Reality and @DallasEast , and @WoodysGirl et al. but they don't have to agree with me, just a suggestion.

Eased him in last night....frustrating....but was probably the smart move. Still...having Parsons doing anything else other than rushing the QB kind of feels like wasting talent.
