8 games in I have yet to see DLaw show he's building off the playoffs. Should we be concerned? To not see much improvement at all is worrisome.

He and Mincey are easy to forget they still play. The front 4 was supposed to be dominant. Not so much

Training camp reports had this guy as an All Pro and looking as good as Hardy.

Wow. Fast to judgement.

can you blame people for expecting faster results considering we traded up for this guy. he seems to have the physical abilities, i don't see the relentless play and/or the brain to be great.

Start James Irvin at strong side DE. He has really flashed and might help take some attention away from Hardy.

This is what people are missing.

When you trade up for a guy and give up multiple picks he BETTER be ready to contribute immediately.

Lawrence hasn't done it. He has no excuses. He's out there playing with one of the best pass rushers in all of football to command double teams. Teams have doubled Crawford a lot. And HE STILL CANT DO ANYTHING.

Pathetic. Thanks Jerry you moron. Would've already had the heir to Romo.

With Lawrence...... I'm not going to judge him until year 3. That's when we should see the real jump.

While I believe in the three year rule, normally a player show most improvement between year 1 and 2, not a great sign so far.

I keep forgetting he's on the team.

Training camp reports seem to be notoriously bad around here. Can you actually remember the last time they turned out accurate in a positive way?

Haha Dez.

McFadden sucked as well. Now he looks amazing..

I've noticed a trend during TC.

What we all, worry about during preseason usually never ends up being what is wrong with this team.

Rb was such a huge concern and McFadden has looked great.

He's a interesting case. This was his first full year and with a training camp. I think there will be a huge jump from this year to next. I expect the same for Gregory as well.

I mean I understanding wanting your investment to pay off but let's be real here. He was a 2nd round pick not a 1st rounder. They traded a 3rd rounder to get him. It wasn't like it was...say the Claiborne deal or the Roy Williams deal. They weren't getting a player ready to start out the gate.

Can't the same be said about Lawrence?

the thing is with gregory we saw some flashes before he got hurt. plus he needs to grow into his frame a little more and get 100% healthy before i judge him. trust me, i'm not one of these guys who has him in the HOF already. right now lael collins is the only rookie i'm 100% pleased with.

lawrence, has played a lot of snaps this year. how many times has he flashed to you? i can only remember the lions playoff game last year. other than that, he hasn't gotten to the qb. if you're not going to pressure the qb, at least be good at stopping the run like anthony spencer. he's even worse at that! his lane discipline was atrocious in the eagles game. i dont see any bright spots with this kid.

You can't play that game. Every draft has someone we 'could've' taken. Remember we weren't in the market for a QB last year. We needed an edge rusher.

Yes we were in the market for a QB but this inept coaching staff thought Weeden was good to go

The result of that decision is our longest losing streak in 26 years

Let that sink in for awhile

He hasn't flashed much this year but what he did in the Detroit game was several flashes. The sack and then the sack fumble was impressive especially at the timing. This team and defense rarely makes plays in the clutch.....when's the last time you saw his team needed a stop and got it at the end of a game? You'd probably have to go back to Lawrence .

They never thought Weeden was the answer lol. Weeden was a cheap solution to a backup qb position after Kyle Orton burned them. They invested 700,000 in him. This team was simply trying to take advantage Romo's prime and trying to add as much talent as possible. At the time it was about getting him a better defense and players around him. Backup quarterback didn't fit that.
