At City Hall to help announce a plan to raise awareness to fighting diabetes, Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett gave quarterback Tony Romo a verbal shot of insulin.

The small crowd heard 8-year-old Kendall Tubbs talk about her daily battle with diabetes. Then during the photo shoot, as Tubbs was preparing to throw the football toward Bennett and former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown, Bennett said:

``I hope she's not Tony Romo cause I won't get the ball."

A funny line from the tight end, who has only four receptions in five games. But it was an awkward moment, judging from crowd's nervous laugh.

In case anyone missed it, MartyB did get WIDE open in this last game but the pocket collapsed immediately and Romo got sacked.

His blocking skills allow me to overlook a lot of the off the field nonsense he pulls.

Attention. He garners attention. He is great to say something crazy.

Like last week when he said he saw the blitz coming from denver on that 3rd and 14 play, he said he yelled it to romo but it was so loud he didnt hear him. The part that keeps him on the radio is what he said next. He said he saw the blitz coming all the way with his THIRD eye.

that is when he said that last year he missed most of his blitz pickups and needed to study more.

He admits that last year he missed alot of him blitz pickups and needed to study better and said he is doing it now. I have been meaning to go back and see where he meant from last year. Should be interesting.

I was a Marty B fan but count me out with this dude. He has done nothing so far, looks lost and sounds lost on his own show. I hear this dude every week and all he talks about is video games and twitter or facebook or whatever. He sounds very immature. How bout concentrate on learning the playbook and running good routes and catching the ball when it is thrown to you.

If we could get what we gave up for him, I wouldn't mind if we traded him. I doubt anyone would give up a high-mid 2nd for him though. He's too clueless to even get on the field, and when he is on he doesn't know where to line up.

People think because he likes to crack jokes in the media, that he doesn't work his *** off on the field.

Did you guys not see the block he threw on Choice's long TD run? It was beautiful...

He may not be making an impact in the passing game so far, but he does a great job in the run game every week. The job that he, Witten, and Deon are doing are flying under the radar.

Some of you need to relax. Or get laid.
