Probably not the smartest thing for a 2nd year backup tight end to say, joke or not. I'm sure Tonys gonna be real motivated to get the ball to him, if it gets back to him.

His act is starting to get tired. Just do your freaking job.

If he was a vet people would say it's his desire to play hard, because he's a loudmouth 2nd year twittering ******* people climb all over it. The No Fun League is rubbing off on people. Not a big deal.

When he starts being a liability on the field, then it's a problem.

People think because he likes to crack jokes in the media, that he doesn't work his *** off on the field.

Did you guys not see the block he threw on Choice's long TD run? It was beautiful...

He may not be making an impact in the passing game so far, but he does a great job in the run game every week. The job that he, Witten, and Deon are doing are flying under the radar.

I'm as frustrated with Bennett's lack of impact in the passing game as anyone, and he certainly needs to shut his mouth when it comes to complaining about touches. Having said that, there is no doubt that his improved blocking (as well as the return of Kosier) has improved this team's running game significantly. "Cricket" has certainly helped as well, as you mentioned.

Romo shouldn't even attempt to throw him a pass for that comment during the ATL game. Romo has to step up and show it's his huddle when the offense is on the field.

He is almost 30... I guess it never too late for you nads to drop. Good suggestion!

Keith Brookings says he wants a spot in your sig.

JBell emerges! How about that game on Sunday? No YAC receivers on this team at all.

Oh, and I don't know who Keith Brookings is...why would he need a spot in anyone's sig?

One of the worst decisions that Dallas has made recently was giving up on Fasano, who has developed into a top ten TE, neccessitating throwing a second round pick on a player with first round talent and an UDFA head.

Dallas has been down that road before Bennett. Maybe someday the light comes on for him like Bryant or maybe he's packing groceries like Ross.

It's funny, and I promise he (and every other receiver) gives Romo worse in practice, but maybe he shouldn't have said it in public, because all the nancy's get butthurt.

I'll take Bennett over Fasano. I don't recall Fasano being as good at blocking. We don't need another receiving tight end with Witten here, but Martellus is athletic enough to help us in that area too. He will get his chances like he did in the Washington game last year. It just won't happen every week. As far as his little joke, this team could do without it, but that's just Marty B being Marty B.

I think the point, and I agree with it, is just that we gave up on Fasano too soon. He was at a similar point to Marty B when he was here, showed a few glimpses, impressed in camp, nothing really special. We gave up, shipped him off, and spent a second on Bennett. And two years later we're right back where we were two years ago.

Or we could have 4th year Fasano here, and have spent that second rounder on something else.

I think that's an easy choice.

Just what this team needs, another T.O.

Just shut up and play Bennett, is all you need to do, you'll get the ball when and IF your open.

Crying about is in public is NOT the answer.

I have a feeling Romo can take a joke and I have no doubt Bennett was joking around

Haha, that would be extremely awkward to be there when he said it. I'd be like yeah, umm ok.

But whatever, i'm sure he truly feels that way but all it does is make him look dumb by saying it.

I like his potential so I would like to see him get the ball more.

No, not throwing it to him out of spite does not show you are in control. Romo should carry on (well not carry on because he hasnt been doing it) but he should throw it to the best option on that play. If Martellus is open, then he should get the ball.

He's regressed. His practice habits are poor. When is a player who doesn't know where to line up not a liability?

Its not entirely his fault he has four catches. He has been missed a few times.
