To soon to throw him out just like that but I'd draft a QB to groom if he has a horrible year next season. In fact I hope we draft one this year...

If Romo fails again next season then we have not found a replacement franchise QB to Aikman, and the search will go on.

If Romo fails next season, it'll be the first time he's failed in a season.

We all know Romo is not the only player on the team but that still doesn't take away from the fact he turns over the ball to much.

Trade for Cutler or Quinn to replace Romo???

Cutler is such a stud that Denver was trying to trade his arse.

Quinn has done JACK in the NFL. He couldnt even beat out freaking Anderson at QB.

I hate to break the news to you, but as far as Jerry is concerned that $70 million dollar contract he gave Romo kinda signaled the search was over.

If we dont make the playoffs this year, it will be the coaching staff out the door, not Romo.

If Romo doesn't come through in 2009 then his job should be questioned... I think it's time for him to either step up or get out of town.

theres no more excuses for romo, phillips, garrett etc. you think only wr was owens be pisst about the offense... roy willams called out garret.... romo called out garrett after eagles game.... phillips you got def cord fired cause he didnt do the job... problems are still there in dallas and we can only hope they recover .

Problem is, T.O. called out more than Garrett, bye T.O. and good riddance.....

This team has now gotten better due to one move and that was getting rid of one cancer.

That being said, I agree somewhat with the criticism on Garrett, but let see if the new freedom to just call a game for the whole offense, rather than for one player (T.O.), makes anything better.

IMO Romo can throw to whoever is open instead of forcing it to one guy like TO so that he doesn't whine about not getting the ball enough like TO does. This will also allow Garrett to call an offense for the whole offense rather than devise plays to keep one player happy, and that one who obviously struggles breaking free at the line.

yeah? and who was he trying to get the ball to, majority of the time, when those turnovers occured?

*hint: the player was just released and is no longer a Cowboy.
