DMN Blog: Daniel Snyder: 'We would have had a lot of fun playing Dallas' in playoffs

Why are non-fans so obsessed with Dallas? Even when we haven't won anything in 12 years, they're still obsessed.

you talk alot. Its funny how fans are always complaining about the perception the media creates of the cowboys, then they talk their own team up exactly the same way.

All I know is you talk alot.

It's also interesting to read Snyder's take on why he isn't a micromanager: "I'm not in any of the coaching meetings. I never have been. I don't watch film with the coaches. I let the scouts scout and the coaches coach."

Is this guy seriously criticizing another GM?

Trust me, we would have loved nothing better then the Commanders to have come down to Dallas last year in the playoffs.

yeah we would have to.but we would have finish the job this time!!:)

I don't think that is a criticism of another GM, but rather people say he's a micromanager and he's just responding by saying (in essence), how so?

While I strongly believe we can lose any game we play in the NFC East, esp this year, I also believe we are the strongest team in the East.

Do you believe you have a more talented team than we do?

*Yawn*

Not really interested in anything Snyder has to say. He's a child with a toy in how he runs his team, nothing more.

well here is the deal..I think defense wise my Commanders D plays better more consistently than the cowboys D.not saying our talent is better, but as a unit i would count on Commanders D to make more plays..on offense well our run game is better, but hands down your passing game is much better.but i expect that to change some what with jim zorns offense.special teams we have a more consistent unit than your cowboys. so thats how i see it!!!

Next time consider opening your eyes when you look at it.

You are kidding right?

THAT is clearly a shot at Jerry.

Not a big deal. But it is a shot.

I found it interesting that Stephen Jones is in on the coaches' meetings, too, busily taking notes. It makes sense, of course, but I still found it interesting.

I wonder if other teams' GMs and contract/cap guys sit in on their coaches' meetings?

me to...so what do you say Adam, do you sit in team meetings? :D
