Your book is not very realistic. Hell there are TE in the league who are full time starters who do not have 8 TD in a season including Jason Witten who last year put up 7 the most since he has been in the pros. Dallas Clark another starter had the most TD catches last year with 11 but you expect a rookie who will not start and will not be in on as many plays as our starting TE to produce more? Unbelievable

then again, you have goal line specialist who catch 3 passes all year and all 3 are TD's, like Curtis.

Me too. Half of my team were comical like him. I still don't get the backlash and the general consensus that he was a draft day mistake.

I can root for the kid and still feel that the pick was a mistake.

I still think the team would be better off with a receiver, especially at this point.

I think Limas Sweed or DeSean Jackson would look pretty good right now.

Hard Knocks convinced me to hate him, then to love him again. As for my current opinion, due to the "choppy-sea" nature of our relationship thus far, I am going to withhold judgement until Hard Knocks tells me what to think about him next week.

I think he's freaking hilarious. I also think he's going to be a tremendous asset as a blocker and in the Red Zone where his leaping ability and 6'6" height make him an unreal threat.

No matter the silliness they've shown on Hard Knocks, they've also shown unequivocally that he has the heart and desire to get in there and mix it up hard as a blocker. I'm convinced that if that sort of thing is there, then the other stuff can be coached up and he can reach his potential.

I am aware.

I'm also aware that the team has 4 healthy TE's who can apparently play and may have to cut one.

I'm also aware that they may be forced to go with three wide receivers in week 1.

I didn't like the choice of a TE in round 2 at the time, and circumstances have done little to change my mind.

But that doesn't mean I'll hold it against Bennett or root for him to fail.

You are right 16 game and 3 TD's what I'm saying you only had 3 players that had 8 or more TD from the TE position all of them starting TE. To say he would be a disappointment if he does not have 8 is ridicules that sound more like a person who is looking for failure in a player so you put up some ridicules number that is highly unlikely will be achieved and for what” I told so”?

Dallas was not in position to take Jackson. The Eagles took him 12 spots ahead of where Dallas drafted in the 2nd round. I suppose Dallas could have drafted up, but we don't know if they tried and were just unsuccessful.

Sweed is not doing that well in Pittsburgh so far. He has been dropping a lot of passes. I don't expect him to be much of an impact this year in Pittsburgh. He would be in the same situation in Dallas. He may be a receiver that is good in a couple of years, but he won't be a force this season.

Dallas does need to draft a wide receiver. They keep putting it off to draft other areas of need. Had they drafted a wide receiver, then there would be more threads on how they need to draft the other positions they did address. Pick your poison.

This receiver class was just too crappy to risk drafting one, sure you can point to guys who might be doing well now, but you can't apply that to draft day decisions.

As long as they had draft picks, they were 'in position' to draft Jackson - or Sweed, or anyone else they wanted to.

And Jackson is looking like a steal for the Eagles both as a receiver and returner...

Yeah, that James Marten pick from last year is really looking great. Much rather a lineman that can't play over one of those receivers taken last year.

Again, do you feel they needed to draft a backup TE in the second round? Now it looks like they have too many and they can't afford to keep Hannah, a solid young player.

That's the part I have the biggest problem with.
