You can't compare Romo to Aikman coming out of college. Note the difference in this photo from one of Aikman's visits to training camp in 2003.

I think Romo could learn alot from Aikman. It would be cool if one of them would reach out to the other.

You said it well. It's quite obvious that the current coaching staff cannot accomplish that task. I sure wish Troy would really reach out to Romo and take him under the ol wing. Romo sure could use a "quality" mentor.

Why stop there?

Just adopt the freaking kid.

Aikman lives in Dallas.

How great would it be so see Aikman dropping Tony off at practice every day!!!

Who's kidding? I ain't. I really ain't though.

My birthday is in March and this is what I am asking for.

I see you trying to inject humor but, all joking aside, I agree with you on this. At the very least, it would be nice if Troy decided to become a more active mentor to Tony.

So Aikman's the leader we've been hoping for?

Aikman is the **** and always will be. That guy left so many wonderful memories behind. I love me some Troy. (no homo) One could only hope that he's pissed enough to actually take another step and seek to establish some sort of dialogue with Romo. Perhaps he could provide Tony with a few pointers and help him along... It's a pipe dream.. I know... One can still dream though.

No but it is the media who is mostly to blame for the majority of Cowboys fans acting like 'the sky is falling' morons.

You're right. There's really no reason to be frustrated with what's going on at Valley Ranch.

We won more games than we lost, were the stars of a hit reality TV show, will be the stars of a soon-to-be-hit reality TV show, and can always look forward to Cowboys news and nuggets on any network, anywhere, and at all times of the day.

I really wish people would drop that whole annoying no-playoff-wins-in-over-a-decade argument. Who cares about that crap.

We have too many players that look at ESPN and not enuff players looking at the playbook and practicing hard

Wow! I'm not even a player and this one hit me square in the gut.

Sad...but true!
