It's one thing to acknowledge that TO speaks the truth - he says what's on his mind.

It's another thing to acknowledge that when TO is doing that, it is really freaking annoying to everyone around him who has to deal with him doing a ton of finger pointing at everyone but himself.

The defense gets to deal with the TO that everyone is friends with.

The offense has to deal with the bad side of TO.

It's not surprising that the defense likes him.

Exactly. Clarence Hill was just saying that on GAC. With the offense and defense meeting separately, the guys on defense don't even know what TO is doing on offense.

And I concur with the rest. Get Greggy's whiney *** out of here.

I grew up in rural Utah - I'm more ghetto than everyone here combined.

Y'all don't know what it's like - dogs running around without leashes, people doing 40 in a 25, I was lucky to make it out.

And Calvin Watkins has more access to the offense and their meetings then the defense? wow...

It couldn't be the fact that he could not get off the line or get open right?

What does his play on the field have to do with distractions in the lockerroom?

Who is going to start the "Thank You Greg Ellis" thread when this bum finally gets cut?

Sheesh!

Ellis. Man, oh man. This is why this guy is not a positive leader either. As a veteran he could be there saying ok, this sort of thing happens, we need to pull together. Instead he ***** foots around saying Jones did this for the better of the team so ....blah blah blah effort. Then he turns it into something about himself with wanting to be more involved etc.

Since Ellis has been here the Cowboys have won no playoff games. He has ability and works hard on the field, but it is this sort of non-winner attitude that has restricted this team IMHO.

I wanted Roy Willams gone, mainly because he seemed to have lost the fire to play. It wasn't important to him as it was when he began. I though that was not worth the money he was paid. Roy Williams and Ellis are good players on bad teams, but didn't get better or become leaders and hence are holding this team back in terms of the lockerroom and teaching the young guys, leading them to the promised land.

Wow. Not really surprised by his comments. Ellis is honest at least. Just a bit dumb and not very politcially savy (unless he's trying to get cut). Just confirms that Ellis hasn't been part of the winning "solution" for a long time. Another "me" guy, just in an insecure way compared to the "TO" type way.

When will players start to realize this is a team game? Coaches, chemistry, heart, hustle, leadership, intensity, mental toughness. They all matter. They separate the winners from the average.

Seems we are cleaning house. Ellis might get his wish and not last a full year more.

LarryCanadian.

Amazing isn't it. Dallas picked Greg Ellis over Randy Moss, because they didn't want the bad publicity.

Mr. Ellis please report to Mr. Jones office.....

Absolutely, this is Ellis making a case for his own incessant whining.

Come on guys take it easy on Ellis.

Really i don't think anybody on the team including the coaches is listening to what he has to say.

Let him talk if he feels better then.

Greg is right. There are more problems in the locker room than just TO. Indirectly, he is talking about his constant seasonal whining about his contract and everything else.

Seriously Greg, just one season, ****.
