Colombo said "everything is looking good," for a possible return this season and his eyes are set on a possible wild-card round playoff game. Initially it was believed Colombo would only be able to return for the divisional round.
Colombo said the pain would not be an issue but strength would be. He has done mostly upper-body work since the surgery and is looking forward to his rehab sessions with associate athletic trainer Britt Brown.
Doug Free has fared well in Colombo's absence at right tackle over the last five games.
This is interesting, folks. Free has played pretty dang well in Colombo's absence. I still think we'll insert Colombo back in the starting lineup and re-evaluate the situation in the offseason. What do you guys think we should do with Colombo/Free?
